I live in Florida and the mosquitoes take over most of the year day and night. I also live in the middle of a National Forest and we are surrounded by different lakes. Going outside to check the mail is a battle sometimes. You come in itching from head to toe. I personally love being outside. I like to work in my yard, my husband and I take a walk every day after dinner, and my Grand Kids love to come visit Nana and Pop Pop and like to play outside. None of like to get bit. There are also other bugs outside most of which bite as well. These bands have been a lifesaver the last few days. We can go outside and not be chewed on.
These bands are soft to the skin. They are very adjustable and can be worn on the wrist, ankle, put in a pocket, or straps to clothing. For the smaller kids I put one through the back neck area and string it out through the sleeve then snap it into a band. That way they cannot get it in their mouths or take it off and play with it. These are made out of natural essential oils. Each band can last up to 120 hours of protection. These come in a 6 pack and are in a zip top bag. When we come back inside I put the bands back in the bag to keep them potent for the next time we go out.
So far I am very happy with these bands. None of us has had any reaction to the oils in the band, but the mosquitoes have been leaving us alone.
