I am no mechanic so I gave this directly to my husband. He thought it was great. It is only about 3 inches long, so will fit any place in the car without being in the way. It is covered in rubber and has a conversion chart on the back of the round base. It is small enough while working on the tires to drop it in a shirt pocket while adding air to the tires. The numbers on the gauge are easy to see and read. Will not just work for car tires, it is small enough to get into whatever you can get it into. I was given this tire gauge in exchange for my honest review.
