This is a great headlamp. It is very bright, it has 6 modes so should cover all of your needs. Even has a red light mode for night. My husband works inside of huge machines as work and cannot always move very well much less hold flashlight, and it is very dark in some of the machines so he kind of depends on having a light like this. We have bought a few different one but this one seems to work as good or better then any others we have had. This one does not seem to eat batteries as much as the others do.
The light works on 3 AAA batteries which are included, and they are Duracell batteries. The strap on this is an elastic material and it is very smooth and comfortable. The headlamp itself is fully adjustable to just about any angle you would need. The headlamp is 2.4 x 1.9 x 1.6 inches, so small and compact, but very powerful and bright. These lamps do come in 4 colors black, green, white, and blue.
