These are perfect for just about any table in any type of kitchen. They have a very sleek and clean look to them and I just love them. They are not the really tall grinders that fall over every time you bump the table either. They have wider base then top which makes them more sturdy I think. I love the clear glass bottoms with the stainless steel tops. The lids are easy to pop off an on, and having the lids also lead to less mess if they do turn over. My favorite part is they do come in a set, I have a few other grinders that just came with 1 and while that is nice I paid as much or more for the 1 then this set retails for. This set holds 3/4 cup of salt, pepper, or your favorite spice. The top screws of for filling. The grinder is fully adjustable from very fine to very coarse.
