I love this hat. It fits my head perfectly and I will be wearing it as part of a pirate costume for Halloween. It is made of a heavy stiff felt and has 3 brass snaps that do open if you want to war the hat floppy. I usually collect hats to decorate the kid's playroom walls with , they love to play dress up and I love to be able to teach them about the types of people who wear the hats, and then watch their imagination go wild. They will be getting this hat too but I will be borrowing it.
I have other hats by Kangaroo and love the quality of them.
