This is a large 16 ounce resealable bag of raw shea butter, it is natural and unrefined. It is 100% pure no additives and it's ivory colored. It is imported directly from Ghana. It is very soft and creamy. I put mine in a lidded bowl instead of leaving it in the bag and I left the plastic wrap around it, but I guess it would be fine to leave it in the bag since it is a zip top bag, so it should be air tight. Shea Butter should be kept air tight, when it starts to age or looses or natural integrity it looses a lot of its healing properties.
It is great for your skin and a ton of skin problems dry skin, eczema, cuts, and burns, it even helps relieve rashes, bug bites, and skin allergies, it will help prevent stretch marks due to pregnancy it helps protect skin from damaging effects of the weather and helps eliminate wrinkles, acne, and discoloration. You can even use it on your hair.
This is a great additive for homemade soaps, lotions, and balms and you can add essential oils to give it a good smell.
Mine also came with a small metal tin, that I immediately filled and tucked into my purse.
