I have never used a clipless curling wand before so when I took it out of the box I was kind of at a loss, I played with it cool to learn how to use it before I go t it hot. Then I Was really kind of scared of getting burnt with the glove. The glove didn't look like much. So I was totally amazed when I plugged the wand in and in a couple of minutes it was hot, I ut the glove on and touched the wand before I wrapped my hair around it and was shocked I could feel it was warm but it was not burning my finger. So I grabbed some hair and wrapped it around the wand, waited about 30 seconds and unwound it. Not the hair was not in a ringlet but I could see that it had started taking the curl. I tried again and left it a little longer and this time I had a very nice ringlet. This Curling wand works very well. It just takes a few tries to get used to it.
