This is pretty cool. It would hold up about 5 minutes with the kids though. It is made od cardboard. The instructions were not the easiest for me but I did get it figured out. You do have to download the app for this also. It only took a less then a minute to be up and running once the app is downloaded. I have Samsung S6 and it worked fine with my phone. The phone fits in the back of the viewer and is velcroed in. There is a magnet and washer at the end you pull the magnet down instead of clicking to get to the different parts of the program. You can download other programs besides the demo set. The google earth part is really cool.
