My husband has been taking these for about 3 weeks now and though it is not a miracle weight loss pill, it does help him to control his appetite. He has had no side effects from these. He does say he feels more energy, but not a zooming speed feeling like with some weight loss pills. He has started to loose some weight, but with any diet it is totally up to you and your will power if you succeed or not. These are helping him keep on track though.
