This has added a block of beauty to my kitchen. I had a wooden bread box but not anymore. I now have a very pretty stainless steel breadbox. This will hold 2 loaves of bread, or in my case 1 loaf of bread and a bag of bagels. You could pile hamburger and or hot dog buns or whatever on top of the loaf bread.
The bread box has a easy scroll up lid on the front. It is about 16 1/2 x 10 x 7 1/2 inches. It is very light weight, weighs almost nothing. This is not like a lot of stainless steel that every fingerprint marks it up, which I am very happy about. The stainless steel is very thin, but it is a bread box not a frying pan so to me it doesn't matter that much. I personally feel that this would make a great gift also.
