Very nice shaving brush. It is real badger hair so there is some shedding. The handle is made of shiny black plastic. The brush is very thick and full so really get the lather worked up nicely. My husband says it is the best brush he has tried so far. He like his shaving soap over the canned shaving cream and this brush is a great accessory. Being a black handle it will go with just about any bathroom decor nicely. Aas with any shaving brush leave it on its side or turn upside down in a brush holder to dry so it keeps it's nice shape. Ladies this would also make a great make up brush for pressed powder, bronzer, or blush.
