This is a great garlic press. It's actually easier then a handheld garlic crushers. Simply lay your garlic on a flat surface, place the garlic press on top, and rock back and forth. It does not totally decimate the garlic. It's very easy to clean, just rinse with warm soapy water or toss it in the dishwasher. If it is made of stainless steel. It is about 7 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. I like everything about it I just wish it had a hole for easy hanging.
