I am quite impressed with this glove. I used it for taking a casserole out of the oven and it did not get hot at all, even the finger that actaully made contact with the food stayed cool. Not sure if it would do the same if it was wet, but being dry it worked great. I also wore it the other night when I was grilling hot dogs and hamburgers. I wore the glove on the hand I was using the tongs will and the heat did not feel like it was cooking my arm as I was holding it over the grill.
The glove is very long and went half way up my forearm. I have short fingers and usually a one size fit all glove proves to be almost useless to me since there is usually at least an inch sticking out past my finger but this one worked great, my husband put the glove on his hand and it fit him fine also and his fingers re at least a joint longer then mine. I have never heard of Aramid fabric, but I will be looking for it now. This stuff is heat resistant and flame resistant. You only get 1 glove but it will work on either hand.
