Absolutely beautiful tea box. It is made of bamboo so no wood smell to it, which is great, I really don't want my tea to taste like a tree. It is a lot bigger then I pictured in my mind. It measures 7-1/2 by 12-1/2 by 3-3/4 inches. There are 8 sectioned off areas in the box. Great for separating flavors. The lid has a very large acrylic window to see into the box. There is no hasp to keep it closed and have to fiddle with. I put about 60 tea bags in mine and it is no where near full.
We drink a lot of tea in my house, and I do not mean just iced tea, My Daughter and I love a glass or cup of flavored tea. I do not drink coffee, just tea. So there is a lot of different teas in my kitchen. Until now they were just in cardboard boxes they were bought in or I had a bunch in a gallon zip top bag for storage purposes. Now they are all nice and neat in this beautiful tea box. They are so much easier to get to the flavor I want.
With a few adjustments this could also be used as a beautiful shadow box by hanging on a wall. Just add a hanger on the back, and maybe a small hasp if you wanted. I am thrilled with this box. It is on the counter in the kitchen.
