I love coloring adult coloring books and I love doodling especially when I am on the phone. I have been using pens, gel pens, markers, and any other writing implements I can find on my coloring books. I go through gel pens very quickly. I am not crazy about using markers, they tend to bleed through some papers. Gel pens are expensive also. Coloring pencils will last about 3 to 5 times longer then gel pens so by using these I am saving money. There are 36 pencils in the set all in different colors which also give me more color options then with gel pens. These pencils can be blended as well which you cannot do with pens. These come pre-sharpened and ready to go. I love the pencil wrap. All of the pencils fit nicely into their own spot. Th can can be folded or rolled up and has a snap closure to keep the pencil secure. I really like this set of pencils. The wide array of colors, and the quality. The leads are strong and do not run down and need sharpened with each use. These would also be great for more then just coloring, they would be nice for drawing as well.
