This is exactly what I have been wanting for my car. I like to listen to my mp3 player while driving and I also like having my phone at the ready. Now I can hook both to my auxiliary port. I can also turn on the DVD player in the car, give 2 kids headphones and drive in peace. So this is great for ll my needs. It is small and thin. The cable length is a little over 9 inches long, So it is not scattered all over the car getting hung up or in the way. I have enough wires with charging cables scattered all over my car. I am very happy with this Y splitter. The sound quality is great.
