I love these beads. I have bamboo growing in vases in my kitchen window and these water beads have snazzed them up a bit. I put about a tablespoon in the bottom of the vase and filled it with water. I then walked away. Later I came back and there was these marble sized water beads all over the kitchen window and the counter, plus the vase was still overflowing. It was kind of funny. I now have paper towels laid out on my back porch with beads on them waiting for them to dry back out. So next time I know better then to use a tablespoon. It may not even take a teaspoon These beads continued to grow for about 3 days.
I love not having to worry about making sure my water levels are good. These will continue to water my plants for me for quite a while, then just add more water they blow back up and continue watering my plant. These are reusable also. The bag may be small but you could fill at least a 5 gallon buck full from the bag is not 2 5 gallon buckets.
