These bowls are gonna save me money. Gotta love that. I end up tossing a lot of food out because it goes bad before it gets eaten. With these bowls the food will last a little longer and hopefully someone will eat it. I always end up tossing fresh veggies like carrots, celery, lettuce, ETC it gets wilted and no one wants to eat it. I end up buying a whole thing of celery for 1 stalk to add to a recipe the rest kind of sets there staring at me whenever I open the fridge. Now I can put it in one of these bowls and suck out the air and it will last longer. Maybe I will get to use most of it instead of 1 stalk.
These bowls came in a 7 piece set, 3 different sized bowls, 3 different sized lids, and the vacuum pump. They are a very pretty clear blue bowl. Put your foods inside put the lid on, close and lock the flaps, Put the vacuum pump on the slot in the middle of the lid and pump it a few times. Be careful not to over pump or the bowl with start to suck inwards and the lids will become loose. I am not sure if they are dishwasher safe really or not but I will be hand washing. Sometimes dishwashers can cause bowls to loose their shape from the heat and this would ruin the bowl.
