We have been wanting a large easel for a while now. This is perfect for what we wanted. My Daughter and Son in law are budding artists and love to paint. We ave smaller easels which work fine for small canvases, but sometimes they want to paint on larger canvases. So we needed a larger easel. This one is great, it easily goes together and breaks down so you can take it on the go. It fits into a tote bag very nicely.
The easel is made of light weight wood. It is painted black. At the bottom of the legs is a round nub. Each of the 3 legs are 2 part legs. The picture holder bracket is also a 2 piece set up. The legs screw together half way up. The 3 legs join at the top with a screw and wing nut. The bracket has a screw and wing nut that is in the middle and screws down tightly to the 2 front legs. There is also a chain that goes from the bracket to the back leg. All the hardware is included. There are no instructions so you may have to put this together twice to get it right.
