This stuff is GREAT!! It is really spongy feeling not like some of the lesser quality type I have had in the past. I also love all the different colors it comes in, so you can blend it into your furniture. This is not only great for houses with small children, but the way my bedroom is set up the desk area is in the back so you have to pass the bed to get from the desk and closet area, and also my side of the bed, I have caught the corner of my bed frame, which is a giant wooden box type frame, several times, and have even broken my baby toe, anyway this is the first place I put this. It is very easy to apply, just unroll as much as you need, cut it off with scissors, knife, box cutter whatever, then cut the double sided tape that also comes with it to size, peel and stick. Done!! this works on pretty much any surface, wood, glass, metal, etc. It is totally customizable, it folds and bends as needed to where you want to put it.
