Anti-Slip Anti-Bacterial Bath Mat 16" x 28" by AKKR
I have been looking for a bath mat for my shower for a while now. I have actually tried about 5 and none have fit just right or stayed in place. This one fits perfectly in my shower stall and stays where I put it. With it being 16 inches wide it would work well in a bathtub as well.
It is textured where you stand and can be comfortable to some and not so comfortable to little ones or those with sore feet. There are small drainage holes in between each of the textured bumps to help with drainage. They need to be a bit bigger though. The bottom is covered in lots of little suction cups and it does stay in place even on my textured shower floor. There was no harsh rubbery or chemical smell to it like some I have used, I really liked that. It is small enough to be tossed in the washer when you want to clean it.
I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions. I received no compensation for this review and I am not required to give a good review. I am also not associated with the seller in any way.
Youngbox Chiffon Plus Size Swimsuit Cover Up Floral Beach Dresses Tunic
This is a absolutely beautiful beach cover up. It can be worn with a pair of jeans and solid colored shirt as well. It is Chiffon and what I would call a peek a boo top, meaning you can see a glimpse of whats underneath through it.
This is a plus size cover up and will fit pretty much any of the larger sizes. I wear a 14 and it fits me really well with lots of room left over. It is black with large purple flowers all over it, It is open all the way down the front and has a really nice stringed fringe around the bottom. At the beach or where ever it is worn it is thin and sheer so will allow the air to come through and keep you cooler then a regular material. I am 5 foot 6 and it comes to about mid thigh on me.
It can be tossed in the wash machine but I wouldn't put it in with the regular wash load. I washed it on gentle cycle in a laundry bag and it came out great. I hung it to dry.
I have a black tank top and a nice pair of black pants I am planning to wear this with this weekend on a date with my husband. So it is not just for the beach..

Mosiso - High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale with Blue Backlight Display
I had one of those scales with the round thing up top that rolled around to show you the weight, but it was hardly ever right any more. I wish I could loose 10 lbs in 10 seconds but sadly that just won't happen. When I was offered this scale to test I was thrilled.
This scale has a nice clear glass platform that you stand on and is safe for up to 400 pounds. They is a nice stainless steel base under the platform. There is a really nice and large LED display that is very easy to read. Even without my glasses I can see it. The display is blue with black numbers. The scale works on 4 AAA batteries which are included. The scale seems very accurate. Unfortunately I no longer loose 10 pounds in 10 seconds.
You also get a awesome tape measure. The tape measure is very easy to hold onto with the t shape of it. The tape folds into a slot that can be slipped downwards to make reading the measurements easier. It has inches on one side and centimeters on the other.

LightPlus LED String Lights (100 LED bulbs, 33ft)
I have used a few sets of lights kind of like this in the past. They were battery run and short strands. This strand tops all of them. This set is run with a regular electric plug and it is 33 feet long. I love the copper wire strands which are very flexible but yet kind of stiff so you can wrap them any way you want. There are so many ways to use these lights. I am a crafter and also love decorating. These lights could be used for Christmas or any holiday as they are clear lights. They kind of have a little yellow tint to them but thy still look amazing. They do get a little warm but not hot like regular holiday lights. I think they would be safe to use even on live plants to make them really stand out. These come rolled on a cardboard tube and will store much easier then the flimsy strands of Christmas lights.

B1ST Sport Breathable Headband Elastic Exercise Sweatband Set
Really great headband. My husband and I walk every night after dinner and do a lot of walking on the weekends. It is HOT here in Florida with heat indexes well above 100 degrees.
I have worn this headband while walking in the evenings since I received it and it great. It does keep sweat from rolling down my forehead, and does not pull my hair at all, and I have a lot of hair. I wet it let night and wore it and will be wetting it each time as it does seem to help keep me a little cooler.
The wrist sweat bands are great too. They give my wrists a little bit of support and I have been wetting them before we go on our walks. They have seemed to help by keeping me a bit cooler and when my face is really hot or sweaty they wipe the sweat and cool me as well. This also comes with a set of glow in the dark rubber bracelets. We try to be back before dark but just in case these will help me to be seen.
I did toss the headband and the wrist bands in the washer with no problems at all. They colors did not bleed or fade and neither of them had any shrinkage.

NBTM: Claws for Alarm by T. C. Lotempio
Claws for Alarm
by T. C. Lotempio
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Cozy mystery
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
“The purrfect sleuthy duo”* is back, and this time murder hits close to home for Nora Charles and her partner Nick, a stealthy little feline gumshoe groomed to solve a shocking crime.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt One:
I sat up straighter. “You think he vanished on purpose?”
“Who knows? I’m just saying it’s a possibility. Nick knows many ways to make himself scarce.” Ollie paused and then added, “Sometimes it’s best to let sleeping dogs lie.”
“Maybe so, but I’ve never been one to do what’s best.”
He sighed heavily. “Okay. I can see your mind is made up. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. And if you need help—any help at all—you call me, y’hear?”
“I hear. And thanks.”
I put down the phone and nibbled at my lower lip. Almost as if he knew I’d been thinking about him, Nick appeared, jumping into my lap with surprising ease for a cat of his girth. I rubbed the sensitive area behind his ears and whispered into his ruff, “You’d like to know what happened to your former master too, wouldn’t you?”
Nick raised his sleek black head. “Er-ewl,” he mewled as his little (debatable point) kitty claws moved up and down, kneading my lap.
“That’s what I thought.” I picked up the piece of paper on which I’d written the address Ollie’d given me. “St. Leo isn’t far away—as a matter of fact it’s only about two miles from Aunt Prudence’s house. We could conceivably kill two birds with one stone, say, tomorrow afternoon?”
His steady rumble made me smile. I gave his head a quick pat. “I thought you’d agree.” I reached for my cell phone. “Maybe I’d better warn Aunt Prudence we’re going to be stopping by, though. So she can prepare my sister.”
Nick’s eyes popped wide, and he leaned back on his haunches, pawed at the air.
I laughed. “Yes, she might find you charming, and then again . . . with Lacey, you can never tell. We—we’ve never gotten along all that well. I’m sure she’ll like you, though.” I leaned over to stroke his head, and I didn’t imagine the cat smile he gave me. As I reached for my cell with my other hand, it started to ring. I snatched it up, glanced at the number, and then hit the button. “Aunt Prudence. You must be psychic. I was just going to call you.”
“Oh, Nora, I’m so glad I got you.” My aunt’s voice was a high-pitched wail of distress. “The most awful thing has happened. “Your sister’s been arrested—for murder.”
Interview with T C Lotempio
As a kid did you write or make up stories?
Yes, absolutely. If I did not like the way a story ended I would change it to suit myself. I did this a lot with Superman comic books. In my versions Lois Lane always got her man.
Where does most of your Character inspiration come from?
Usually it’s a combination of people that I know. For example, the character of Nora in the Nick and Nora msyteries is loosely based on a composite of me and my cousin. The character of Nick is most definitely my tuxedo cat, ROCCO
Do some qualities of your characters come from real people?
I would say practically ALL of their qualities come from people that I know.
What was the inspiration for your book?
My tuxedo cat, ROCCO. He jumped on my lap when I was watching The Thin Man and the Nick and Nora mysteries were born.
What is your favorite spot to write?
I write at the desk in my den, usually with my CD player blaring out the soundtrack form PHANTOM OF THE opera.
What advice would you give budding writers?
Read, read, read and write, write, write. Don’t give up. I’m living proof that if you want something bad enough and keep at it, it will happen!
