Synopsis

My Review:
Seventeen year old Terra Rowan is fleeing from the Salem Witch Hunters in 1692. She finds herself hiding in a small cave by the ocean. She can still hear them coming for her. In her pocket she has a potion her dear friend and mentor Elizabeth has given her. She takes the potion.
Now three centuries later Terra is in Asheville North Carolina living the contented life as the cat she was turned into when she drank the potion. That is until one day her friend Lionel a human is murdered. Terra has learned much over her 300 plus year life, everything except how to turn herself back into a human. She also has a hard time with communicating with humans until she meets Abigale. Abigale is a young homeless girl who has just gotten to Ashville. Abigale has had problems with hearing voices, including Terra's. Terra convinces her the voice is real and she needs Abigale's help. They also convince the ladies of the Biltmore Society to help Terra.
This book is filled with history, cute cats, I just love Pixel. It also has a lot about herbs, spells, and mystery. I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for book 2.
