Very nice set of survival bracelets. Son In Law is an Marine and believes in being prepared for everything. He has a duffle bag in the trunk of his car filled with survival gear. They love to go camping and I do not mean to a camp ground. I gave them these survival bracelets and they both loved them.
The bracelets feature a small scraper, for cutting small branches, cutting meats, and even for cutting the rope the bracelet is made out of. It also goes with the magnesium rod to use for starting fires. The bracelet like I said is made the rope. It is made of 7 strand parachute cord. The cord is very strong. The rope measures about 11 1/2 feet. The rope will hold up to 308 pounds. The rope is very useful for a number of things. There is also a very loud whistle. For signaling help if needed. There are 2 bracelets in my set so if they were to get separated they could blow the whistles to find each other. The bracelets are one use if you use the rope, but can be used over and over for the fire starter, whistle, or the cutter. The connectors are made of plastic. They are the break away type connectors. The bands are about 7 1/2 inches long.
The only thing that I can see that would make these any better would be small compass.
