Great idea and works well, I am just not always strong enough to push hard enough to get the veggies through. I love that it comes with different blades to make different sized veggies strips. Great for fries. If using on onions though and the onion is a little soft it will kind of smash it, I love that it comes with a holding bowl. I have used the kind where you put the potato or other vegging in and pull the handle down and it shoots out the front. I end up with veggies all across, the table or counter and often have to pick them up from the floor as well. I love that this pushes downwards and the bowl catches everything. There are several pieces but the system really isn't that hard to clean, toss it in the dishwasher or drop it into warm soapy water right after use and it pretty much just rinses right off. Really makes quick work out of slicing and dicing.
