I love Halloween. I love decorating not only my house and yard but myself. When I saw this hat online I fell in love with it, it was so pretty. Waiting for it to arrive was the hard part. It's here and I more then love it. It is just beautiful. Yes I said Beautiful. Witch's hats may not of meant to be beautiful or even pretty but this one is, and I love it.
The hat is 19 1/2 inches across at it's widest point and is 17 1/2 inches tall. The outer layer is orange with black quilting all over, with a solid black satin liner inside. There is a large black bow at the front off centered to the left with a large orange flower in the center, and behind that is a large black spider. The legs of the spider are pipe cleaners so you can bend them however you want them. In the back of the hat it is kind of split. There is also a silver rhinestone studded band around the base of the hat. The hat is heavier then your cheap single layered witch hat, but it is not to heavy that it bothers you to wear it.
I personally cannot wait to get to wear it. I am pairing it with a long black off the shoulder dress. I am heading to the craft store today to try and find a roll of the stuff like the hat band is made of so I can use it as a belt on the dress so the outfit matches. The hat needs to take center stage so I will not be doing much embellishment to my outfit. But this is just my personal feelings on how I will wear this amazing hat.
