I did not use these for a diaper pail I used them in my kitchen trash can and they work great. Took any smell that was there out I did tape it to the side of my trash can then put the liner in. I also tossed one in the cabinet that my trash can lives in. My favorite part is every couple of weeks just lay it in the sun and it refreshes the packet so you can reuse them. These are small packets about 2 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches. I really like these.
