My Review:
Dark Protector by Avelyn Paige & Geri Glenn is the first book in the new Black Hoods MC series. I love MC books. Being around bikers and being married to one they just appeal to me. I enjoyed this one and the characters a lot. This one has a lot of mystery involved. There is also trigger alert that should be added. There is a kidnapping and torture and parts about poor abused dogs from a dog fighting ring. The book does have a couple of sex scenes and colorful language but it wouldn't be a very good MC book without it. Avelyn Paige & Geri Glenn have done a great job with this book and I can't wait for more of the series.
In the book Blair, a psychology student is looking for a room mate to help pay the bills on the house she inherited from her Grandmother. Thinking her next prospective room mate is knocking on the door she goes to it to be confronted by a man with a mask on. He barges in and and knocks her out.
GreenPeace is a member of the Black Hoods MC. He lives very close to Blair, while walking his dog, they hear a noise. The dog takes off for Blair's house and rushes in on the assailant. GreenPeace follows the dog in and sees Blair in a pool of blood. He knocks the guy out but while checking on Blair the guy escapes.
The MC is in the middle of trying to break up a dog fighting ring and to stay out of the line of vision from the Cops. His President tells him to leave Blair alone, but he feels like he needs to protect her if possible.
