This portable cooling stand is unlike any I have seen. Instead of the huge box with fans that goes underneath your laptop and needs to be plugged in to a USB port, This is just 4 small and extremely lightweight blocks.
In the package you get 4 plastic magnetic blocks and 4 sticky on magnets. You stick the magnets underneath your laptop. I put them on the rubber pads under my laptop. Then you set the blocks onto the magnets and set it on any flat surface, like your desk.
The blocks give you about an inch between the desk and the underneath of the laptop letting more air in. These keep your laptop cooler without the use of a fan. These do need to be used on a flat surface. They do not work setting on your lap as they magnets are not strong enough to hold the legs on while on your lap and also I know my lap is not proportioned enough to set all the legs squarely on my lap even if I move the magnets around. Setting on the desk though the legs do not let the laptop dance around. The block are the exact same size so there is no tipping either.
