TurnRaise Motorcycle Phone Mount Bracket w/ USB Charger Socket

My husband rides his motorcycle pretty much daily. We live in Florida so we can ride year round. We have even rode the bike to Pennsylvania. I do wish we had of had this phone mount with us on that trip. The phone mount is more then just a mount. It comes with wires that hook to the battery which powers the charger on the mount. A short power cable is all you need to charge your phone while riding. It hooks on the bikes handlebars very easily, quickly, and securely. The part that the phone mounts to is metal with rubber grips which hold the phone very tightly but does not do any damage to the phone, The mount will hold several types and sizes of phones and can even be used with the case on. We are very happy with this mount and it will get used a lot.

Book Blast for The Congressman's Wife by Charlene Keel

The Congressman’s Wife
by Charlene Keel

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

All Eden Bancroft has ever been to her high-profile politician husband is a trophy wife, born and bred for the part. She believes she has no choice but to play it—until she meets a talented chef and restaurant heir who makes her feel loved for herself alone. The more her husband uses and belittles her, the more deeply Eden falls for Kaleb. Even with Mitchell’s congressional campaign in full swing, the lovers manage to find brief stolen moments together. When her husband is wounded by a bullet from a disgruntled lobbyist, Eden must stay by his side. What she learns can set her free, if she has the courage to take a stand.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt One:
Kaleb had been standing close enough to hear it all—not that he’d intended to eavesdrop. He only wanted to try and give her some kind of signal—to beg, if necessary—to get a moment alone with her. When he heard her husband’s caustic words, Kaleb wanted to punch him. He wanted to take Eden’s hand and lead her out of there, away from the complete jackass her husband seemed to be.
Instead, he followed her into the room where coats were checked for the evening. The maid who’d taken them was nowhere about, and Eden was digging through the racks when Kaleb walked in. She looked up, surprised.
We need to talk about it,” he said.
About what?” She found her wrap and Mitchell’s Brooks Brothers overcoat, draped them over one arm and turned to face him.
About this thing between us.”
That’s not very original.”
I feel it and I know you feel it.”
Look, I’m very flattered,” she began but he cut her off.
We don’t have much time.” He moved closer, aching to touch her. “Your husband will come looking for you any minute. Just tell me when and where I can see you again. Alone.”
You can’t,” she said. “My husband is running for congress. It’s . . . it would be impossible.”
No,” he insisted. “I don’t know why we met or how we’re going to pull this off but I do know one thing.” He was speaking so softly now that she had to move closer to hear him.
What?” she asked, her lips just inches from his own. They were of equal height and he could see how well, how perfectly, they would fit together.
I won’t give up. I want to make love to you.”
At least once?” she countered.
He moved closer still. “Once will never be enough for us. You know that, too.”
She sighed, lightly, and her sweet breath lingered on his cheek for a moment before she moved away and broke the spell.
My husband is waiting for me,” she said. “You’re a little crazy, you know? You need to forget about this. I’m married. I have kids. I don’t have time for an affair.”
Have lunch with me.”
Sorry—too busy.”
Just let me talk to you. Give me two hours—maybe over the weekend. Then if you never want to hear from me again, that’ll be it. I swear.”
She didn’t say anything for a moment, as if she was considering it. “As intriguing as that sounds, I’m afraid it’s impossible. I’m going to the season opening at the Village Resort up in Hunter this weekend, with my best friend.”
Your husband going too?” Kaleb persisted.
No. He has a previous engagement. Not that it’s any of your business.”
He opened his mouth to answer but Mitchell’s voice rang out in the foyer. “Edie—let’s go. Where are you?”
She flashed Kaleb a warning look and called out softly, “Coming, Mitchell.” Then she left, quickly, before her husband could see Kaleb standing in the shadows.
GENRE: Christian romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Alone and betrayed, American professor, Bonny Bryant longs for a haven of peace. She accepts a position at a small Christian college in Fort William, Scotland, craving escape from her painful past. The passionate love which develops when she meets fellow professor and sheep farmer, Kieran MacDonell, is something she never anticipated.

How will Bonny decide between her rivals? Can they set aside the past to make way for a future, or will it drive them apart?

Land of My Dreams, Christian Romance Novel, spans the distance between New Mexico’s high desert mountains and the misty Scottish Highlands with a timeless story of overwhelming grief, undying love, and compelling faith.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt Two:
Come see this.” Kieran and Bonny stood atop Grant Tower at Urquhart Castle, overlooking Loch Ness. For her, it was a place of poignant memories. He pointed to a rainbow arching from one side of the loch to the other as she moved into the crook of his arm. “Now, down there.”
She stood on tiptoe and looked to where he pointed, at the base of the tower.
Step onto that ledge and I’ll steady you.”
The warmth of his hands around her waist contrasted with the chill wind. She shivered and leaned close enough to hear the stubble on his chin scratching against her raincoat. “The rainbow enters the water at the foot of the tower. Another fifty feet, and it would form a complete circle. Amazing.”
His arms tightened around her. “No more so than the woman in my arms.”
She kept silent. Did he feel it? What could be more romantic than a rainbow all their own?
No one else sees it.”
His warm breath tickled her ear, and she leaned against him, wrapped in a sense of wonder and delight. No one even wrote things this perfect. “Just we two.”
Kieran bent over her, his lips touching hers, tentative and searching. She leaned into his arms, her heart leaping in her chest as she allowed her lips to reveal her readiness to move forward. The scent of him was becoming so familiar. The taste of him was even sweeter.
Interview with Norma Gail
As a kid did you write or make up stories?
I made up stories all the time. I would even have my sisters and friends play parts in the games we played. They said I was bossy!
Where does most of your Character inspiration come from?
The characters come with the story. Then I will create a character background sheet that fills in personality traits along with a physical description and things that could motivate them. Usually, the story begins to form in my mind and then I will see a person or actor who looks like what I imagined. I want to know them inside and out.
Do some qualities of your characters come from real people?
A few times, I have seen a person who was perfect and written a character description like them. One of the characters in Land of My Dreams came from a woman I saw in the small town grocery store where I shop. I already have two characters in mind for a historical series I want to write that came from real life. I keep files of character descriptions in my computer with other information I need for the story.
What was the inspiration for your book?
Land of My Dreams was inspired by a dream while we were preparing for a trip to Scotland for our 30th wedding anniversary. I saw the character who became Kieran MacDonell, the male protagonist, in my dream. I am married to a Dutch immigrant. For over 40 years, I have watched how his family thinks and does things different from Americans. If you have seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding or the sequel, you can get an idea of what it is like. Immigrants tend to cling to some of their thinking and traditions, sometimes even when they don’t make sense. I got to thinking about how much courage it would take to immigrate alone and as an adult. Could I give up everything I had ever known to live in a different country?
What is your favorite spot to write?
I am pretty spoiled. When we built a new home in the mountains a few years ago, I insisted on having a library. My desk is there and I write surrounded by my books, file cabinets full of research, and when I am thinking historical, I have photos of my ancestors looking down at me. It is quiet and has a lovely view. In the summer, I love to go out on the patio to write.
What advice would you give budding writers?
Learn your craft. I just wrote based on things I had known from school and reading, but many things are different now because of television and internet. People are very vision and action oriented. Learning to write from the point of view of the characters, and the rules for doing it right are necessary. It is important to begin your story in the midst of the action. I had to do a lot of “unlearning” because I am a huge fan of classic literature, even though I love the Christian fiction of today. Go to writer’s conferences and groups and read books on how-to write. It will save a lot of time, rewriting, and rejection.
CHAPTER 9
Claudia slammed the door and left. I stuck my forehead to the cool window, trying to catch a break from the unduly heat inside the Mini. It was a beautiful June day. The kind that rarely came about in rainy London. Instead of enjoying it, here I was, stuck yet again inside my car, doing nothing. I must be crazy.
A knock on my window caught me by surprise. I shook like an epileptic when I realized Gabriel Varela stood next to my car. He was bent down toward me, his face leveled with mine, his smile dazzling. He gestured for me to roll down the window.
I considered locking the doors and driving the hell away from him but then I figured the chances that a florist would off me in the middle of the street in broad daylight were slim to none. I looked for his bulky bodyguard from the picture. He would gladly shoot me dead. No one in sight. My hand shaking, I opened the window.
“Hello,” Gabriel Varela said, extending a manicured hand to me.
It was a beautiful hand, delicate yet powerful, with long pianist fingers. The hand of an intellectual, its skin soft, as I shook it feebly. The hand of a real man all the same. A hand that swallowed mine completely and made me feel small. A hand that invaded my car like a threat.
APPHOME USB Cup Holder Car Charger
I have tons of car chargers, they are actually all over my car. I am now in the process of removing them all since I received this awesome cup holder charger. I have a small car and it only has 1 cigarette lighter so plugging in more then one charger end is impossible. With this cup holder charger it has 2 built in plug ins and 2 built in USB ports. Now I can plug my phone and Mp3 player into the USB ports and I can also have my GPS and my car deodorizer plugged in all at once. I am thrilled with this charger. It fits perfectly into one of my 4 built in cup holders and does not bounce around or out of the spot. I like that it also has power buttons so when I have nothing plugged into one of the ports it is not live. This is also easy to take with me if I change vehicles. When we go on vacations and day trips we usually go in my husbands car. I can just unplug this and put it into his car. I will be getting a 2nd one of these for his car though so I don't have to remember to put it back in my car each time.
Luxusteel Colorful Opal Stainless Steel Earrings Set
I love this set of 6 pairs of earrings. I love all the color choices. Each pair is a different color. The turquoise ones look like actual stones with the black lines shot through them. These earrings are made of stainless steel. I have  a problem with a lot of earrings. They make my ears sore, swollen, hot and they turn red and swell. These did not do any of that. The stones in each pair are about the size of a pencil eraser. They are light weight and comfortable to wear. I have even slept in them. With 6 colors you can match them to just about any outfit. The earrings are post style stud earrings.
Heat-resistant PVC Place mats by Y&M
My kitchen table gets white spots when you set hot plates or glasses. The rings go away as the table dries but I think it looks awful. I like to use place mats to keep from getting the rings. Cloth ones do not work for me as they get wet and then lay on the table. This set of place mats are made from PVC and Polyester and seem to stay dry. They are large enough to put a regular sized dinner plate and a glass on. I have not noticed any white spots when I wipe the table after dinner. There are 6 place mats in the set. I have 4 chairs around my table everyday and add the other 2 chairs for company. I use 4 of the place mats at each chair and i use one in the center to hold my napkins and salt and pepper set. These are working out great for me. They are very easy to clean up, just wipe them off or wash them in the dish water and let them air dry.
