My Review
Wind Chime Wedding is the next chapter of Wind Chime Cafe By Sophie Moss.  This is the 2nd book of the Wind Chime Series. You could read it as a stand alone but I wouldn't reccomend it. You kind of need to read Wind Chime Cafe in order to really meet the characters and get a true idea of some of the things being talked about in this book.
The story takes place on Heron Island where Becca Hadaway is a 2nd grade teacher who is quitting to get married to her high school sweetheart Tom.
Colin Foley is a former Navy Seal who lost his leg in Afghanistan, and also the son of Maryland's Governor.  Here's a part you need book 1 for, He is busy working on turning his friend Will's Grandparents house into a Rehab center for wounded Veterans. He finally has a reason and a purpose in his life. Now all he needs is someone to share this new leash on life with.
Colin sets his eyes on Becca. Now to convince her, he is the man she should be marrying.
As with Wind Chime Cafe Sophie Moss has done a wonderful job of dragging you into the story and keeping you there from teh fist word to the last, and she leaves you wanting more.  She takes you through the gambit of emtions, you are Happy when things are going good, Sad when they are not. You feel like you are intimate friends with the characters in her stories. I can't wait to see what her next book will bring.

Princess Crown Necklace Earing Set

Simply adorable set. My Grand Daughter just loves it. The set is made out of plastic It comes with a crown, which is 2 pieces, the decorative front piece snaps onto the headband, it is also removable for storage. You will also get a wand, a ring, a par of earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace. The earrings do have small pieces, so small children should be watched while playing with these. The jewels on all the pieces are a very vibrant pink. The set is very pretty.
This makes a great addition to my Grand kids dress up box, and would also make a great addition to a Princess costume.

Professional Exercise Resistance Loop Bands with Workout Video Training

These are great resistance bands and the video is so helpful. I have another set of resistance bands but they are very long and there was no video or even instructions with them. It also comes with a storage bag to keep the bands safe and together. The bag also makes it so easy to toss the bands in a suit case or glove box while traveling. The rubber used to make these is strong but flexible enough not make you struggle to use them. All in all it is the best set I have seen.

Excerpt:
“The choice is yours boy, but understand—not deciding is making a decision. Do it before I make the decision for you. Only difference is, I won’t kill one, I’ll kill them both. Father or sister. You have all the power.”Roth’s kept his tone calm and gentle. The evil coiled tightly within him warmed his soul. He fancied the boy killing his father, silently rooting for the infant to survive. He could have lots of fun with her over the coming years. The boy’s father would die either way. Roth had bound and beaten him just for fun.

“Daddy? What do I do?” Tears streamed down Dylan’s face, sobs racked his entire nine-year-old battered frame. His gaze slid from his father to his baby sister, now held by Roth. When he looked back at his dad’s bruised and bloody face, he cried harder. His dad’s eyes were swollen—nearly shut.

The gun shook uncontrollably in the boy’s small hand. “Daddy?”

Boredom shadowed Roth’s eyes, the excitement of the climax dimmed with the child’s indecisiveness. His gaze wandered out the window over the kitchen sink. In the back yard, a massive play structure stood, complete with swings, tunnels, overhead ladder, and a slide. How extravagant for just two children, one still an infant. His sister always belabored the little things. Shame she’s not present to witness this. He would’ve found this even more amusing.

The blond haired infant cradled roughly in his left arm actually cooed at him. Disgusting. If he kept this thing, he'd have to hire a nanny. Still, the thought of it growing up with half the powers he'd felt in his sister years ago made the brat worth the trouble…If she survived today. He sighed.
                                                                             ****
“Dylan, son, It's okay. You’re going to be all right. Look at me. Remember how we played catch this morning? When you think of me, you’ll remember how we played ball today. Okay, son?” He didn’t know what else to say in this horrific situation. His own psychotic brother in law was forcing his son to commit the most heinous act imaginable, choose between patricide and sororicide. Roth had always been the canary in the crazy mind but even Devon hadn’t seen this coming.

“Awww, isn’t this touching?” Roth snorted, no doubt weary of his twisted game. “What a little wimp. I’m growing tired of your indecision, boy. I think I’ll just slice this little bitch’s throat.

About the Author:

Of the many lessons life seems intent on throwing her way; the most important one Shyla’s learned is to take the time to enjoy family and friends. The flux and flow of changes aren’t something to fight, but adapt to with the best of your ability. One day’s heartbreak is often followed by another day’s triumph. The only barricades remaining are the ones we refuse to navigate. She hopes you’ve enjoyed this story. Shyla’s website, ShylaWolff.com, will be updated as Dylan’s journey continues.

Book Blast Tour for DARK HORSE by Michelle Diener

DARK HORSE

BLURB:

Some secrets carry the weight of the world.

Rose McKenzie may be far from Earth with no way back, but she's made a powerful ally--a fellow prisoner with whom she's formed a strong bond. Sazo's an artificial intelligence. He's saved her from captivity and torture, but he's also put her in the middle of a conflict, leaving Rose with her loyalties divided.

Captain Dav Jallan doesn't know why he and his crew have stumbled across an almost legendary Class 5 battleship, but he's not going to complain. The only problem is, all its crew are dead, all except for one strange, new alien being.

She calls herself Rose. She seems small and harmless, but less and less about her story is adding up, and Dav has a bad feeling his crew, and maybe even the four planets, are in jeopardy. The Class 5's owners, the Tecran, look set to start a war to get it back and Dav suspects Rose isn't the only alien being who survived what happened on the Class 5. And whatever else is out there is playing its own games.

In this race for the truth, he's going to have to go against his leaders and trust the dark horse.

Excerpt :

Rose slipped her ticket out of hell over her head and tucked it beneath her shirt, where it lay against her skin, throbbing like a heartbeat.

The sensation was so unnerving, she curled her fingers around it and lifted it back out, eyeing the clear crystal oblong uncertainly.

“Iʼll try to keep all the passageways clear for you and Iʼve disabled the lenses, but just in case someone disobeys orders, it would be better if they didnʼt see me.” Sazo spoke too loudly through the tiny earpiece she wore, and she winced.

She reluctantly tucked the crystal, that was somehow also Sazo, back under her shirt, tugging the cord it hung from so it was below her neckline. After three months of being the only thing sheʼd had to wear, washed over and over again, the shirt was threadbare, and barely concealed Sazo anyway, but it was better than nothing.

She took the two steps to the door of the tiny control room tucked away to one side on the Tecran ship and it slid silently open. Sheʼd only been inside for ten minutes at most to steal Sazo, or break him out, depending on your view of things, and the corridor was as empty now as it had been when Sazo led her here.

She looked back, but the door had closed, completely concealing the control room, so it looked like an uninterrupted passageway again.

“Youʼre still in control, even though Iʼve unplugged you?” She spoke very quietly, because even though Sazo had opened doors, and diverted traffic all the way from her prison cell to this room earlier, there was no point taking foolish chances like talking too loudly when it was unnecessary.

“I would not have initiated this plan if I wasnʼt absolutely certain that it would work.” Sazo sounded a little . . . stressed.

“You okay?”

“There has been a delay loading the animals at the launch bay and the Grih have come through their light jump three minutes sooner than I calculated.” He went quiet for a moment. “Iʼm sorry, Rose.”

“What? What is it?” Freezing hands of panic gripped her heart and she stumbled to a halt. If he was going to tell her they had to abort, that she had to go back to the cell . . .

“The lion has been killed.”

AlphaShades Car Windshield Sunshade

Great sunshade. The shades dimensions are 59.05 X 31. 49 inches, so it fits most Automobiles. I live in Florida so my car is like an oven when I get in it in the evenings. My car is parked in a parking lot all day while I am at work. There is no shelter and no shade. Florida in the summer is rain pretty much every afternoon so I cannot even leave my windows cracked. This sunshade does help keep my car a little cooler, even a couple of degrees is good. The sunshade also helps protect my dash and seat covers from baking in the sun. My car is a couple of years old, and I want to keep it nice, so this sun shade to me is a huge help.

Syono Arch Support Insoles

My husband has tried these insoles, a couple of different times actually. He has planters fasciitis, and well the results for him were not good. He walks 1 mile on the treadmill and had to pull them out of his shoes before he got 1/2 mile. He then tried them in his boots while mowing the grass and also had to remove them. He said they are extremely hard with very little give to them and they did not fit to his feet right.
On a good note, they are packaged nicely, and are easy to cut through. These are made a little big, I am assuming to fit all feet in general, but the arch support part does not go to well with a one size fits all insole since bigger feet have a bigger heel also so the arch is further away from the edge.
