The Very Healthy Spiral Slicer by Varietyland Review & GIVEAWAY

The Very Healthy spiral slicer  by Varietyland was given to me as a blogger in exchange for my honest review.This came to me with the spiral slicer, a lid, and a cleaning brush. When I first opened it, I made spiral carrots to add to salad. It was actually really easy to use. Put the carrot in either end and twist. When it gets smaller use the cap that has pin like pieces sticking out to grab your veggie. If you continue to twist you will get long spirals that will go through the whole veggie. I also made spiral potato fries to put on top of Hamburgers. Huge potatoes will not work so pull out your whole bag to find the ones that will fit in the approx. 2 inch wide whole. this can go in a dishwasher but rinsing it in warm soapy water works great. It's actually kind of fun making the veggie spirals and figuring out how to use them in your recipes. You can make veggie pasta,
zucchini spaghetti, and also just plain julienes, there is 2 different slicers one at each end. On eis a little bigger then the other. It also comes with 2 amazing ebooks.

WashGuard - Large Lingerie Wash Bags Review

As a blogger I received this product for my honest opinion.
I have used a few different brands of laundry bags and I have to say I was quite impressed by the quality of this one. It is very well made and I have no doubt it will hold up through years of use. I really love the small elastic tab that tucks the zipper in place and keeps it from snagging on clothing in the wash, its definitely a fantastic feature. The laundry came out very clean and I didn't have to worry about anything getting tangled in the wash. All in all I really loved the quality and would definitely recommend these bags.

Hyperbiotics PRO-Women with D-Mannose Review

I have suffered for years with severe stomach problems. My Gall bladder was removed about 23 years ago. My stomach is always hurting I have horrible acid reflux and take pills and antacids daily and have for years. Everything I eat bothers my belly in one way or another. I have been trying different Probiotics lately trying to find the best for me, and I think I finally have. I love the fact that this one is designed specifically for women. I love that it has cranberry in it so no more taking an extra pill each day. I love that you only take it once a day, most of the other probiotics I have tried are taken at least twice a day. I have been taking these for about 2 weeks now, bloating has reduced significantly, pain has reduced significantly, acid reflux has not bothered me near as much. I actually feel like I have more energy also.
From the company:
This formula was designed with the best probiotic strains for women's health and was manufactured in Lafayette, CO with two patents, making it 15x more effective than standard probiotic capsules.

If you want to understand more about how it works, you can watch this quick video here -http://vimeo.com/87541099.

Excerpt tour and Giveaway: Dead Handsome by Laura Strickland

Dead Handsome: A Buffalo Steampunk Adventure
by Laura Strickland

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Clara Allen needs a husband in order to keep a roof over the heads of her assorted dependents, a roof her nasty grandfather will re-appropriate unless she is married by her 21st birthday, only a few days away. Strong-minded, unwilling to take orders from any man, she decides to solve her problem by raising a murdered prisoner from the dead and marrying him. She expects an empty-headed puppet; she certainly never dreams he’ll be so devastatingly handsome.
Liam McMahon doesn’t recall much about his life before his hanging in the prison yard, other than being Irish. He does remember the kiss Clara bestowed as she brought him back to life. Every time he looks at her, his desire gets out of hand. But his former life is chasing him down like a steam engine, and when a couple of mad geniuses decide he’d make a fine experiment, he wonders if he’ll live long enough to claim Clara’s heart or if he’ll die all over again.
EXCERPTS (Exlusive Excerpt):
The man leaned in, and the mechanical eye adjusted disconcertingly. But Liam had passed far beyond being disconcerted.
“You’re a fine specimen,” the man said. “I’m pleased.”
“What are you going to do with us?” Fagan croaked the words as if he couldn’t prevent them. The man’s head swiveled to face him.
“Nothing very pleasant, I assure you,” he said without much emotion. “But comfort yourself with knowing you’ll be part of a grand and important experiment, and significant portions of you will live on.”
“Jayus,” Fagan wailed.
The black-haired man advised, “I really shouldn’t bother calling on him, if I were you. He never comes here, though many have called.”
“Do you have a name?” Liam snarled. “Your buddy there is called Charles. But are we not to know the name of the man who murders us?”
“You may call me Master Mason, since I am a member of that noble, ancient, and venerated society. And I’m no murderer.”
“Right. You usually have your meat brought to you —fresh hanged.”
“Usually, and only the finest. You should consider yourself honored to be amidst an august company. The Irish have many faults—many—but they do grow fine examples of manhood, strong and tall. And, so very often, dispensable.”
“He’s not dispensable.” Liam jerked his head at Fagan. “A policeman—”
“Unfortunately, a victim of a tavern brawl while off duty. Someone saw him going into the river. Lost.”
“Get on with the job.” The steam-burned man, Charles—he with the horrific hands—appeared at Mason’s side. “Must you toy with them? Just end it, and let’s get to work.”
“Me? Why me? You do it.”
Liam bared his teeth again. Aye, they had no liking for the ugly deed Maynard usually accomplished for them.
“You’re the man who’s so good with the saw,” Charles said.
Fagan moaned.
AUTHOR Bio and Links:
Born in Buffalo and raised on the Niagara Frontier, Laura Strickland has been an avid reader and writer since childhood. To her the spunky, tenacious, undefeatable ethnic mix that is Buffalo spells the perfect setting for a little Steampunk, so she created her own Victorian world there.  She knows the people of Buffalo are stronger, tougher and smarter than those who haven’t survived the muggy summers and blizzard blasts found on the shores of the mighty Niagara.  Tough enough to survive a squad of automatons? Well, just maybe.
Laura will be awarding a pair of hand-crafted, Steampunk-style pierced earrings - US only .
Review: Willakaville by Mathew Heinecke
The full title of the book is Willakaville, Amazing Adventures of Astronomical Awesomeness By Mathew Heinecke. It is a book of 16 short stories all based in the town of Willakaville.  Each story in the book involves at least one citizen on Willalaville, and at least one weird or stange happening to them an the other ciitzens of the town. The book is recommended for ages 6 to 14, but I wouldn't stop at 14, and I would say both boys and girls will enjoy this book.The book is very funny in lots of spots. There is humor, aliens mystery, and all the rest of the things that make a great book. It takes someone with a huge imigination to have come up with the stories in this book and Mathew must be a blast to have a conversation with.  As a blogger I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.
Review: Best Running Armband for Samsung Galaxy S5 , S4, S3, iPhone 6 (4.7), HTC One & More (Black)
Nice armband, holds phone securely, and holds onto your arm securely with comfortable soft sided velcro. it has a slots at the top and at the bottom for headphone access. There is also a slot for you to put a car or house key so you don't have to have your key ring in your pocket. I am not a runner but I do walk a lot and also like to listen to audiobooks while working. This armband makes using my phone as a mp3 player so much easier since it is secure and not falling out of a pocket. Fits iphones 5 and 6. The adjustable arm strap fits arms from 9 1/2 to inches. My husband has large arms and it fits great through the outside slot, I use the inside slot.
    The packaging is great, it is certified frustration free, an it is. A small cardboard box held shut by 1 paper label, and the armband is inside in a zip top bag. I did get this in exchange for my honest review.
