This is a waterproof earbud from Mazimark. It says it can be used for swimming. This is true but only if you keep your head above water and are within 50 feet of your phone or other device. Once you go under water it looses connection. This can be safely used int he shower, I did try that also. I do not usually take my phone to the shower with me, because nothing in my life is important enough to have to make or receive phone calls in the shower but for testing purposes I thought it would be a good trial. I did not run it through the wash machine but it does say it will withstand, in case you forget it in your pocket.
To use in the water you do need to put the waterproof cover on the earbud first. It does fit snugly and is a little hard to get on at first. But well worth it to keep if dry and in working order.
This connected easily with my phone, but it did loose connection quite easily and multiple times even though I was in the same room as my phone. The earbud just may be faulty, but I did look on Amazon to see if I was the only one having a problem and if there was a way to fix it. Seems I am not the only one to have a problem.
With the earbud you also get a nice round zippered carrying case, a charger cord, and a set of different sized earbud covers. These do have a 4 to 6 hour battery life.
