While clan members are held captive, the banshee leader, Sorcha, barters with the Supreme Witch’s Council to bestow life to her group within the next 48 hours.
Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rose, high witch of the Wysteria Hedge Haven Clan, has recently been running late to coven events. She arrives at the arena after the banshees’ attack, and manages to escape.
She hires the famous Spirit Wulver, who is known in the magical world for dispatching demons and evil spirits. When he arrives, she realizes it is Kincaid McAllister—the same man she fell in love with centuries ago, back in Scotland.
Kincaid and Lizzie set aside their personal feelings in order to save her clan. Unfortunately, Kincaid’s typical pest exterminations fail. As a last resort, he plans to travel to the Land of the Fae to consult with the Faery King to determine the best way to get rid of Sorcha’s gang.
Despite the dangers, Lizzie insists on going with Kincaid. After rekindling their love, the two vow to spend their lives together. They find Uaithne; a magical harp that will destroy the banshees. Possession of the item requires the sacrifice of a life. To Lizzie’s dismay, Kincaid offers his.
Refusing to accept Kincaid’s fate, she frees her clan, then begins the process of returning to the Land of the Fae where she hopes to free her lover. Hopefully, Lizzie’s timeless love for Kincaid will unlock powerful magic to fuel her quest.

At last Kincaid

and she breathed in his intoxicating presence. A smile curled her lips, but it
faded when she realized he wore woolen soldier’s attire complete with a red

Do your characters seem to hijack the story or do you feel like you have the reigns of the story?
These days, my characters behave themselves. When I first started writing, sometimes I’d let them go rogue, and my stories suffered. Writing yourself into a corner is very defeating, because in order to create a believable plot, things need to stay within a certain framework.
Convince us why you feel your book is a must read.
My Wysteria Hedge Haven “good witch” sisters came to me in a dream? Not fully created, but the dream planted a seed in my mind. The first book in the series is about the youngest sister, the second is about a sister in the middle of the siblings and “Witch Tease,” features Elizabeth, “Lizzie” Rose, who is the oldest. I frequently feature sisters in my plots because I have many sisters of my own and family is important to me. Each of my witch sister books focuses on a journey to find something or save something. There is an entertaining mixture of love, laughter and drama in all of the books, including Lizzie’s story. I believe readers can relate to her family issues, her love life and her goals. Besides, Scottish banshees take her clan captive and she’s got to find a way to send them packing or her family and friends will cease to exist.
Have you written any other books that are not published?
I have so many! Writing books is how I learned to develop my skills. I cut my teeth on those manuscripts, so they were an important part of my education. Along with writing contests, college courses and writing conferences, writing those babies brought me to where I am today. They weren’t ready for publishing, but they were necessary.
Pen or type writer or computer?
I outline most of my scenes long hand, then I feel organized enough to sit down at my computer and write. These are mostly ideas, and often what comes out in the book isn’t exactly how my outline came out. But outlining my scenes gives me a starting point and a road map to follow.
Anything you would like to say to your readers and fans?
Overall, I hope readers enjoy my books as much as I did when writing them. Offering an entertaining plot and characters is always my goal. As a reader, I want to laugh and cry and I want to go on an amazing journey with people who fight for what they believe in.
