Ashley Fontainne & Lillian Hansen bring the ghosts of small town life in the 1980's back to haunt us in this book. I was raised in Doodahville actually Douglasville myself so I know all about small town life during the freak show of the 1980's. Georgia and Arkansas aren't much different from what I read in this book. Rebecca Roberts does a great job of narrating this book and bringing this book to life. The book itself takes you through several genres humor, mystery, coming of age and more.

After the death of Kassandra (Kee) Lawson's Great Aunt the family decides to pack up and move to a small town in Arkansas. The culture shock is quite hard to deal with along with leaving the only life Kee a senior in High School has known. Life in California where Kee was raised is a whole nother world to life on the back roads of a small Southern town. You get a picture of Kee's life in California to really make you understand the difference between big city and country life. You get to meet the family along with Kee, some are likable some you would like to punch in the face, Hmm, sounds like real life. There is a mystery involved as well. This book really has it all and is a easy to listen to, I am sure to read it would be just as good.
