Virtual Book Blast Tour for Creatus Series Boxed Set by Carmen DeSousa

Creatus Series Boxed Set

GENRE: Paranormal Romance / Urban Fantasy

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For thousands of years, the creatus have managed to conceal themselves from the humans who hunted them almost to annihilation. Inadvertently, the actions of one creatus will jeopardize the anonymity they've strived to keep.
From the moment Derrick Ashton saw her, he knew she was different, but he didn't think his entire life—and more importantly, his family’s lives—would forever change because of his wants and desires.
Now, thrust into a role he never wanted, protector and guardian to a girl he can never have, he will risk everything to save her from humans—and now, his family. The one thing he can't protect her from, however, is herself.
Derrick must come out of the shadows to save the woman he has no right to love, even if it threatens his entire race.
The Creatus Series is not your typical urban fantasy...it's romantic and suspense-filled, and at times, heartrending magical realism based on the legends you've heard throughout history. Prepare to believe the unbelievable.
AUTHOR Bio and Links:
Carmen DeSousa writes stories brimming with romance, suspense, a hint of humor sometimes and, of course, a few Kleenex moments. After all, what would a great story be without an emotional event setting the stage? All of her novels are sensual, but not erotic, gripping but not graphic and will make you cry, laugh, love, and hope.
Although her Creatus series clearly include supernatural beings, the paranormal dances on the edge of make believe. Carmen hopes that as you read, you'll wonder, "Hmmm...what if?"
    1. Pride and Prejudice... Austen was, in my opinion, the frontier author for tender but tough heroes and heroines, and nearly everyone loves her. It's hard to make everyone happy, but I think she did a pretty good job. :)
    1. Experiencing a one-dimensional character who was only in my head suddenly become two-dimensional, and then actually feel three-dimensional. I swear, my characters end up taking on a life of their own. I'll be writing, and next thing I know, I'm writing something that I never intended...and it's usually a better idea. :)
    1. *Take your time. Build your online presence.
      *Even if you know you want to self-publish, always query agents; the feedback you receive is invaluable.
      *Never, ever take feedback personally; always accept feedback graciously.
      *Always, always, always, hire professional editors, formatting experts, and graphic designers.
      *And above all, never, ever give up. :)
