Absolutely adorable plate. My Grand Daughter just turned 4. She loves Princesses, and she loves this plate. The plate is made of stainless steel. It has 5 sections, kind of like a TV dinner tray. It is shaped like a castles. All the edges are beveled and smooth so she cannot get cut on the metal. The plate can be hand washed or put in the dishwasher. Being metal it is unbreakable. The metal is stiff so it should not be able to be bent either with normal use. She is really enjoying eating out of this plate and wants it at every meal. Not to say she is eating more she but she is eating. She is also playing by decorating the castle with her food. This is a really cute plate and would make a great gift. You could also use it as more then a plate, like using it as a catch all on a dresser in a child's bedroom to hold hair bows and things.
