Great for cookies = 5 stars
I had to bake cookies just to see how good this would be and well it's great!! No sticking at all, washed up easy. Seems very sturdy, and fit my pan perfectly. Definitely glad I was able to get this at a huge discount for this review. I will buy another though at full price

Review: Bobbi Jean's 2pc Tong Set with Silicone Tips & Stainless Steel
I used them for dinner tonight, they clamp nicely on the food, both the larger ones and the smaller set. I love the locks on them no more chasing the clips down, just pull the top up and they are locked, great for storing them. The bonus spoon is great also. They all 3 seem very sturdy, and are dishwasher safe. I am so glad I was able to get these at a huge discount in exchange for this review but would of paid full price for them also. I can see getting a set and using them as a great gift for any of your cooking friends or family.

Summary
How far should you go to keep a secret?
No-one ever accused Sophie Campbell of being a coward. From caving trips to rooftop pranks, it appeared nothing could hold her back, especially once she landed a dream job promising travel all over the world.
But Sophie’s jet-setting lifestyle is not what it seems and she’s been spending more time in the quiet English village of Saffron Sweeting than she cares to admit. When her beloved Great Aunt Wol dies suddenly, Sophie loses one of the few people who truly know her. As friends, family and an old flame gather for the funeral, questions soon follow. Worse, Sophie finds herself increasingly attracted to the man most likely to expose her secrets. Can she manage to guard her past, yet finally follow her long-held dream?
Featuring both new and familiar characters, this stand-alone romantic comedy is set two years before Saving Saffron Sweeting. With side helpings of British tea, cake and wit, Secrets in the Sky explores how finding the courage to be yourself can be the toughest challenge of all.
Excerpt
Bella looks incredulous, but before she can respond, there’s a brisk knock at the front door.
Bugger, I think, who the hell’s that? Surely not someone trying to sell us solar panels in this weather? Bella’s busy concocting our dinner, so I gather myself and head for the door.
When I open it, I find a tall woman with wavy auburn hair standing with her back to me. She’s wearing a chic navy suit with a peplum jacket, which shows off curves like Jessica Rabbit.
Then she whirls around on one heel and proclaims, ‘At last! You’re the one sleeping in my husband’s bed!’
With that, she steps forward, and thrusts out a hand. Instinctively, I take a step back, but then notice her wide, mischievous smile.
‘I’m so pleased to meet you,’ she says. ‘I’m Amelia.’
I shake her hand cautiously. Her grip is enthusiastic and she’s wearing a huge cocktail ring which winks at me, despite the gloom outside.
‘I’m sorry,’ I say, apologising immediately for something I haven’t done. ‘But I’m not sleeping with your husband.’
But I’m really thinking: Joey – the scumbag – is he married and hasn’t told me?
‘No, darling, not with my husband. Just in his bed, right? And I should have said ex-husband.’
‘Umm…’ I’m still not getting it.
‘You’re house sitting, correct? For Michael Hargraves? You’re wearing his dressing gown, you know.’
Now I get it. Bella’s Uncle Mike. And this is his dressing gown? Ugh. I hope it’s been washed.
‘Well, I’m Amelia Hargraves. I own the estate agency in the village.’
‘Oh,’ I say. The penny drops. I’ve seen her occasionally in the post office and the baker’s, always dressed beautifully and talking in that deep, posh way. ‘Sorry. Yes. Would you like to come in?’
Amelia strides past me happily, not needing, of course, to be shown the way to the living room. I shuffle after her, making sure the belt of Mike’s dressing gown is tied securely.
Amelia’s standing in the middle of the room, head swivelling as she assesses her former home. Even though I am entirely blameless in the sleeping-with-the-husband department, I still feel awkward.
‘Where the bloody hell did that come from?’
She’s looking, of course, at Stanley, who opens both eyes, lifts one clawed foot off his perch and echoes ‘Bloody hell!’ at the top of his voice, adding ‘Feed me!’ for good measure.
‘He’s temporary,’ I say. Great. Now she’s taught Wol’s parrot how to swear. Some guardian I make.

Review: Secrets in the Sky by Pauline Wiles
I was given a copy of Secrets in the Sky by Pauline Wiles for a honest review.
I really enjoyed this book I couldn't put it down.
The story takes place in the small village of Saffron Sweeting, where the main character Sophie Campbell lives with her Aunt Wol until Wol passed away and puts a huge kink into Sophie's life. You see Sophie is living a huge lie. Everyone thinks she is a Air Hostess (stewardess), but in actuallity she is terrified of flying. The reason she is lying is to cover a huge secret.
When Wol passes she leaves a nest egg for Sophie and her ex-boyfriend Joey, who is also bests buds with Sophie's mom Erica, comes sniffing around. He wants a photography studio and wants Sophie to fund it and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. This is one guy I would like to kick in the teeth.
Along the way she meets Tom who's family owns garden center's and he's a pilot. He helps her cover the lie even though he has no idea what is going on. He along with others help her overcome her fear of flying, and ends up falling head over heels in love with her.
I'm gonna stop here or there won't be much point of you reading the book, and it was a real page turner for me, I just had to see what Sophie was gonna do next to protect her secrets.

My review of The Roche Hotel by Mysti Parker
The Roche Hotel by Mysti Parker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
i was given a copy of the Roche Hotel in exchange for a honest review.
I listened to the audio book of The Roche Hotel by Mysti Parker, and I have to say I really enjoyed the story.
the story is short was only about 1 1/2 hours long. The narrator done a great job with the story. The story was good and kept you interested. I loved the different situations that came up during a day or should I say night at the hotel. I liked the characters and the way the author gave a different personality to each one. I do wish there was a little less of Nick the ex but I am sure in the next book he will fade out. I do understand having an ex myself comparing people at first. I also wish I had a man who brought me donuts LOL.
The story if about Jane Seymore (not the actress or King Henry's wife) who is recently divorced. She takes job at The Roche Hotel as night desk clerk. As nights pass the author takes you through all the different situations she deals with and the people Jane meets like Henry, the donut guy. Henry owns the donut shop who delivers to the hotel for the guests. It takes a while for anything to transpire between Jane and Henry, not for his lack of trying or her lack of wanting, but in the end it's all good, even their parents kind of get together. I don't want to give to many details as to not spoil the story for you. I will personally be on the look out for book 2.

Nikki's Review: Premium Rear Window Sun Shade
I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion.
I was really excited to try this product and was sure it would be great to help shade my son from harsh light beaming in his eyes while he's in his rear facing car seat. The moment it arrived I opened it and started attaching the suction cups so I could get it set up in the car. The suction cups came extremely bent and as I was attaching them to the mesh one of the metal eyelets ripped off. We bought new suction cups, since the ones we received wouldn't stay on the window, and we were able to finally get it put up. The screen is a good size and does its job in blocking bright light. I am disappointed with this product and would not buy it again.

Seventh Grave and No Body (Charley Davidson, #7) by Darynda Jones
Another AWESOME book by Darynda Jones. I love this whole series and have read all the books so far. Can't wait for #8.
In this book Charley and Reyes are starting the battle with the 12 Hounds from Hell. Charley is pregnant, and they finally get married. What was that girl waiting for? Oh wait I know she is about 1/2 crazy which makes her such a great character in the book. I want a best friend like Cookie also. The sad part of the book is her daddy is murdered in the book. Uncle Bob gets kidnapped and shot. The Dealer gets a name and a staring role in this book. It's very busy a real page turner. No telling what Charley and the gang will get into next.

Review: Tiffy's Terrible Top Hat Preteen E-Book
I was given a copy of Tiffy's Terrible Top Hat, written by Lady Jennivieres Quill in exchange for an honest review.
The book centers on Tiffany Rink's aka Tiffy. Tiffy is in the 6th grade and is a beauty queen and a bully. The story starts on a cold day when Tiffy steals a very unusual hat out of the lost and found at school. During the day at school she steals a piece of birthday cake and makes a girl break her leg. When she gets home from school her parents see a bald spot on her head, and in the morning her bangs and eyebrows are gone. Her parents make her go to school and she wears her new hat. During a spelling bee she finds that she is completely bald now. All of this leads to her unusual stolen hat. The hats tag reads Ravenous Fashions 48% polyester 52% Flesh Born in Oklahoma. As Tiffy discovers the hat has eaten her hair. But after Tiffy's bad day she decides to turn her life around and become a good girl once again. So good does come from bad. In the end Tiffy's mom is shown the truth of the hat, who in turn cooks the hat for dinner and feeds it to her family (YUCK) I guess there was no bad reaction to that since it is not mentioned. This book is really a cute story for 8 to 12 year olds and does teach a good lesson about being a bully.

Nikki's Review: Radiant Complex Lash & Brow Serum
I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion.
I've always envied those who have naturally long lashes, I on the other hand have to use a eyelash curler before applying multiple coats of mascara.. lets just say falsies are my friend! As you can imagine I was extremely excited to try a product designed to show results by 6 weeks. The application of the serum took only seconds and was very easy, so easy in fact, I was sure I was doing it wrong! It comes in a tube similar mascara and goes on like liquid eyeliner. There was no stinging or burning and it doesn't feel heavy or sticky on my lash line. There is also a ton of product that I am sure will last through several months of application. This is a great product for those lacking in the eyelash department and wanting to experience eyelash growth without a multitude of nasty chemicals!

Dog Day Wedding by Rich Amooi
Giovanni Roma was jilted at the altar. Twice. Meeting Natalie is an enchanting distraction—too bad she’s engaged to another man. To top it off, Giovanni’s mother has a mouth with no filter and is obsessed with finding her son a suitable baby-maker.
Natalie DeMarco is a good cop with one problem. Cold feet. Her fiancé is a decent man, but she’s starting to wonder if decent is good enough. Maybe the doubts could be blamed on Giovanni, that guitar-making Italian hunk next door.
Giovanni knows he must do something, but things get out of hand when he learns he’s not the only one who objects to the wedding. Dog Day Wedding is a fast, fun romantic comedy that gives new meaning to the term, “Shotgun Wedding.”

My Review:Magic to the Bone (Allie Beckstrom #1) by Devon Monk
I enjoyed this book, you never knew what was gonna happen with the turn of the page so you kept right on turning it. One minute you loved Zavian the next you didn't trust him. Allie sure knows how to find trouble just by walking in a room or out of one. Not gonna give details though. It is a kind of fast passed book.
Nikki's Review: Unexpected Eden by: Rhenna Morgan
Rhenna Morgan's Unexpected Eden takes you on a whirlwind ride to another realm.
We begin our adventure by meeting Lexi Merrill a bartender who doesn't quite fit in and has only ever had herself to rely on. Eryx quickly enters into the story and there's just something about him Lexi can't shake. She agrees to have breakfast with him and they meet at a diner where they encounter an enemy of Eryx's family and Lexi is then whisked away to different realm where she finally feels like she belongs and is able to unlock a part of herself she never knew existed.
I loved the fast pace of this book it really sucks you and makes it hard to put down. The characters were well written and I can not wait for the next book in series so I can continue the journey with them.

Congrats on winning a copy of Stripped with the Vampire!
I'm Jax Garren, and thanks for entering the Rafflecopter for a copy of Stripped with the Vampire. As Stripped is in the final editing phase, I'm giving readers two options for when to receive it. Next week it will be in copyedits, which means that while the majority of the editing will be complete, it hasn't had a final proofing for spelling, grammar, etc and may contain a more than average number of errors. For anyone who'd enjoy a "preview" copy, I'm happy to send this pre-proofed e-ARC. For readers who'd prefer a finalized version of the book, those will be ready the first week of March, and I will be happy to send a copy then--which will still be about a week before it goes on sale to the public!

My Review: Harrowgate by Kate Maruyama
I am only giving this 3 stars because the ending to me was rushed, it was almost as if they had a page count or something, or ran out of paper.
The rest of the book was very involving, I actually felt like a tear was coming a few times. And it really made you feel for the characters in the book. But the end kind of sucked, it just jumped up there and rushed through then it was done.....There was no real explanation where there needed to be, it kind of just left you wondering.

I have my mp3 player at work and listen to audio books all day, but at home I have hard copies and my tablet. So I always have at least 2 books going.

Magnetic Screen Door REVIEW
I was able to get this product at a huge discount in exchange for an honest review.
I was able to put the Magnetic Screen Door up all by myself, so it gets and A+++ for ease of installation. It also gets an A+++ for ease of use just walk through it and it opens and shuts when you get through it. My dogs were a little leary of it at first but after showing them several times they have gotten used to it. My Grand kids on the other hand think its a toy to run through. And it hasn't fallen yet so another A+++ for being sturdy It is January so I can't say a whole lot about bugs, but here in Florida the flies are out somewhat and we have seen a few on the porch but none in my kitchen so far (where I have the screen door put up) All in all I think its a great product and even at the retail price it is well worth it.

The Disappearance of E.A.B. REVIEW
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
The Disappearance of E. A. B. was a book I could not make myself put down. It was a really great adventure, as well as a dramatic story. You the reader go through a wide range of emotions while reading this book.
I don't want to give much of the story away so will be brief on the details. It's about a woman named Anna, who with the death of her Father finds out her whole life is a lie. Anna ends up going from one side of the country to the other trying to discover who she really is and in the end decides it really doesn't matter. I felt in the story she is a lonely, love hungry person who just wants to fit somewhere. Her childhood was to say the least bad. Amelia her mother was insane, Wendell her father was very distant and not a loving sort of man. As she grew and in the story she seems to latch on to men just to feel some love, and luckily in the end she finds real love. This book is by no means a romance novel though. I really enjoyed the parts of the story dealing with genealogy as she discovers the town her father Wendell is from that is now under water. There are quite a few typos in the book but they are easy enough to get past and not loose where the line was going. All in all I think its a great book.
