This is a very nice and easy to use batter and mix system. Since I made the video, I retried it and if you add the liquid first, the dry ingredients do not stick in the bottom. This is so simple and easy pour your wet ingredients in pour your dry ingredients in, put the top on, hold it by the top and spin the crank. Then just squeeze the handle to dispense the batter. Makes great pancakes and Last night I made funnel cakes using it. I did not squeeze the handle all the way for the funnel cake. Clean up is a breeze, warm soapy water or the dishwasher.

Ok I must admit I did not go for this coffee grinder to grind coffee. I personally wanted it for grinding spices. I have spice grinders, They do not work near as well as coffee grinders do on spices. The manual grinders that look like pepper shakers, they are great for pepper, but do very little for actual spices. I do not know if it is because some spices are large like coffee beans or what. On top of the fact too the manual and even the battery operated grinders take forever to grind spices, the handle on this baby puts all the spice grinders to shame. I use it the same as if I was grinding coffee. The ground of this grinder is adjustable, so I can have very fine to very coarse. It is a very nice stainless steel. The handle is very sturdy. It has a Ceramic Conical Burr and is rust free.

Unlike most baby care books, expert pediatrician and health communicator DR. PAUL Roumeliotis takes a unique approach by emphasizing what scientific advances have confirmed—that what happens early on in life affects one's overall health decades down the road.
Baby Comes Home communicates the latest science that explains how positive or negative early childhood experiences can have lifelong consequences. The book begins by describing the vital changes that occur in a baby's brain during the first 18 months. It then explores the new "Science of TLC", that shows how tender, loving, and caring relationships with babies help to positively shape their brains. The book then presents important practical information on safety in the home and outdoors, baby routines/patterns, immunizations, injury prevention, nutrition, and more. To complete this useful guide, DR.PAUL also reviews common baby care issues and concerns as well as illnesses and conditions commonly seen during the first few years of life.
Whether you're a parent, grandparent, daycare teacher or child caregiver, this book is an excellent reference resource for your baby's current and future health, wellness and prosperity.
To hear Dr. Paul talk about his new book on CTV News,
“Dr. Paul, an expert in pediatrics, has written a groundbreaking book about the importance of childhood/infant health in preventing illness and ensuring wellness later on in life. An accessible and valuable resource for doctors, psychiatrists, paramedics and parents around the world, this book should be used by organizations to further global initiatives relating to pediatric health onthe international stage, the main specialized bodies of the United Nations, UNICEF and WHO in particular. If you are one of the believers of my own quote on this very subject: “A sound mindcan only be found in a sound body,” then I strongly recommend that you carefully read and digest this innovative book by Dr.Paul accordingly.”

Why I wrote Baby Comes Home by Dr. Paul Roumeliotis
This, my first formally published book, is a collection of articles and programs that I have written and collected for the past 20 years! Most books about newborn babies concentrate on handling and feeding, or are mostly about physically caring for a new baby. Uniquely, I take an additional approach, because we now understand from advances in neurobiology, neurophysiology, and gene studies that what happens early on in life can have consequences many decades down the road.
This book, is the first book for parents of newborn babies to incorporate the new science of early child/brain development and the effect of TLC during the first 2 years of life, and to link this period with long term health and psychological consequences and success many decades later. TLC—tender loving care—is not a new concept; we always suspected it was important, and now we have the science to prove it. Studies on the effect of brain and hormone controls by the lack of bonding, healthy relationships, and nurturing during the first few year of life have shown rather worrisome results. Up until now, it was very clear that lack of bonding and nurturing in babies can result in long-term psychological and mental conditions. It is now apparent that this neglect can exacerbate or even cause chronic physical illness such as diabetes and metabolic syndrome even decades later. In addition, the aspects of a child’s development that are interfered with play a role in a child’s future learning and socializing skills, and ultimately their ability to reach their full potential as adults So, investing in a child’s early support not only assures proper mental, emotional, and psychological development at the time, but indeed is a form of chronic disease prevention.
It does not cost anything to respond to, nurture, caress, and give your baby as much attention as you can. Connecting and interacting with baby and establishing a relationship are easy to do and the pleasure you will get back is priceless. At the same time, baby’s brain is feverishly developing and growing well. Soothing baby when upset is one of the most important things to do. Reading to baby, making eye contact, caressing, playing with baby, and giving baby loving attention are things that are very inexpensive and quite easy to do, virtually anywhere, anytime, and under any circumstances. So remember: infant-parent and infant-caregiver relationships and connections do not cost anything; yet, there is so much return!
I also focus on a significant threat, which is injury. Sadly, accidental injury is the leading cause of death and hospitalization in children. As most injuries are preventable, I spend a significant amount of time discussing injury prevention both inside the home as well outside. I place a huge emphasis on ensuring that baby is safe, and grows and develops normally. I describe the ideal conditions for a baby to live and grow in. These include proper nutrition, injury prevention, immunization, and of course, very importantly, the provision of tender loving care. I look at this as a guide to wellness, starting in the first eighteen months and lasting a lifetime!
I begin with the newborn baby period from the moment of birth and offer basic baby care and safety information for the first eighteen months and beyond. This includes addressing frequent parental concerns and describing some of the most common illnesses and conditions seen during the first few years of life. Although the title says A Parents’ Guide, this book can be a helpful resource for any child caregiver, be it a grandparent, aunt or uncle, babysitter or daycare teacher. In addition, many of the topics that I cover will apply even beyond the age of eighteen months.

These are very nice face painting brushes. My Son In Law thinks I should not put them in face paint, but should use them in acrylics for art. He agrees with me that they are great brushes. Just about every brush you will ever need is represented in this set. There are 12 brushes in the set. We will be using them for face painting at a Fall festival in October. These will make a great addition to my Face painting kit. The handles are made of solid wood, the bristles are made of high quality non toxic synthetic fibers. The handles are 5 to 6 inches long. There are square tipped, fine tipped and a fan tipped brush, so whether you use them for face painting or for painting pictures you will love these brushes. I do!!

I love these waterproof bags. I live and Florida and my husband and I spend a lot of our spare time riding the motorcycle. Florida spring and early summer is pretty much daily rain storms. You never know when they will hit, how long they will last or how much rain will fall. This waterproof bag will save my phone. There is also enough room in it for my ID, Credit Card, and some cash, I can also put my MP3 player and headphones in it. Since there are 2, I can also save my camera, I have a Samsung digital camera I like to take with me, every thing is a photo op for me. So when it rains the camera fits right inside. They come with lanyards so I don't have to worry about dropping them while on the bike. They are lightweight, my phone and camera are enough weight.

Asia Cottom lived eleven short years on this earth. Her tragic death on Flight #77 on 9/11 is forever etched in the hearts of the countless people who loved her. But her wise and influential life, her positive attitude, and profound faith in God are her true legacy.
You may love God with all your heart and soul, yet not understand what He is doing. In Asia’s New Wings, Clifton and Dr. Michelle Cottom, along with family and friends, walk beside you, sharing their thoughts and offering compassion to help you come to a place of acceptance, when trying to make sense of suffering great loss. The people in this book have learned to come to terms with what God allows, and are now in a place where they can help heal others. If you have gone—or are going through—the “valley of despair,” you will find comfort and empathy from those who care. You will also find hope and the strength to move forward as you rediscover your life.
What Asia's parents and all those who loved her went through, healed from, and learned will bring comfort and relief to those who travel down the road of loss. Reading and experiencing Asia's story will truly bring healing and life to all who turn these pages.
Clifton and Michelle Cottom live in Prince George’s County, Maryland and they have one son, Isiah. The Cottoms are the co-founders and executive board members of the Asia SiVon Cottom (ASC) Memorial Scholarship Fund.
My Review: This is a Amazing, Powerful, Griping, Heart Wrenching, Eye Opening Book. I could go on with descriptive words forever. I want to go to Clifton and Michelle and hug them. I cannot imagine loosing one of my children, but to loose one the way they lost their beautiful daughter is just unthinkable. Asia was one of the 8 children who were killed on flight 77 on 9/11, when it was flown into the Pentagon by terrorists. Asia was headed on a field trip to Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary in Santa Barbara, California. This book is not really about the events of 9/11, it is about how Asia's family dealt with loosing their baby girl in such a tragic way. If you have ever lost anyone you need to read this book. You will want to get a snack, get a drink, and a big box of tissue. You will not want to put this book down. This book is not a story, this book is basically a narrative of real life. At the end of this book you will know Asia and her family so well, but you will also get to know yourself. IF you have ever grieved for someone you will definitely relate to Michelle and Clifton. If you are grieving someone this book may help you work through and deal with your feelings and grief. This book is written from the heart.

The reason this gets 4 stars is there is no place for my glasses. I have to wear glasses to see to start with but even if I did not I would still be wearing glasses when on the bike and there is no place for them to go. They do not stay on at all when putting them over the mask and they will not work inside the mask. I will be making small slits on the sides in order for my glasses to be worn. Protective eye wear is a must while on a motorcycle, bugs at 55 mph can do some real damage to your eyes.
The face on this mask is awesome, the eye holes are a good size. This could be worn as a Halloween mask. These would be good for skiing or any outdoor activity. It is nice and warm and very soft. The eye holes are the only openings in the mask. This will be great on cold days while on the bike. It fully covers your head and neck area, it is very stretchy so any sized teen or adult could wear it comfortably. It is machine washable also.
