Laura
I believed
in the fairytale.
The Happily-Ever-After.
The “till
death do us part” fantasy little girls grow up believing in.
Unfortunately
for me, my happy ending was divorce, and learning to find myself all over
again.
I was done
with men and relationships, or so I thought, until a stubborn hockey player was
determined to show me what love could really be.
But could I
fall for the fairytale a second time, and trust that he would protect my heart?

Mark
From the
moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was made for me.
She was
broken and I was determined to put her back together again.
I was here
to prove she could have that fairytale love story after all.
To show her
someone else can protect her heart and love her unconditionally.
Now I just
have to convince her that someone is me.

KNASI Bonsai Tools Kit

KNASI Bonsai Tools Kit

This is a really nice 8 piece set of Bonsai Tools. Great for pruning and shaping bonsai trees as well as other plants. Everything comes nicely packaged in a nylon zippered bag. You get 2 Bonsai Pruning scissors + 1 Folding Scissor + 1 Wooden rake + 2 Wooden spades + 1 Stainless Steel tweezers and 1 wooden cleaning brush. The folding scissors and the 2 pair of pruning scissors comes in nice plastic packages that should protect the cutting blades. The tips or the pruning scissors as well a the blade are very sharp, these should be kept in a safe place and away from children. The only problem I have had with this set is the folding scissors. Thy are very stiff. I had a hard time pulling them into the scissor shape and then again folding them back up. They are also stiff when snipping with them. A little olive or mineral oil may loosen them up. If you buy the and yours are stiff, use only natural or food grade oil or you could damage your plan if you get the oil on them. I will be rubbing the oil on and wiping it back off. Other then the stiff scissors I love this set and will be getting lots of use with the set. I have lots of plants and mess with them a lot, all of the pieces in this set will be very handy.

Gya Labs Grapefruit Essential Oil - 10ml

I have tried a few of Gya Labs Essential oils before and I have to say I love the quality of them all. They have all been 100% pure essential oils, and this Pink Grapefruit Essential oil is no different. This is a 10 ML amber glass bottle with a screw on top and a Euro Dripper. The amber glass  bottle helps protect the oil. The Euro Dripper lets 1 drop of oil out at a time. This is great for adding to diffusers and for measuring to add to bath and body products, and more.

This is one of the best smelling pink grapefruit oils I have smelled. It is actually a medium scented oil, so it should not over power no matter how you use it.  The citrus smell is very clean. It like adding a drop of sunshine to your day no matter how you use it.

Grapefruit oil is great for uplifting yet relaxing your mind and body. It is also a Diuretic, a disinfectant, a anti depressant and more. This oil is great alone or blended with other essential oils to make your own scents.

I am extremely happy with this essential oil as well as all of the other Oils I have tried from Gya Labs.

7 Halloween Costumes You Can Easily Put Together

7 Halloween Costumes You Can Easily Put
Together

Halloween is the time when adults can dress up and roam the city without looking like complete lunatics. Buying Halloween costumes might be an expensive option. You will not be wearing the vampire costume that you bought from Amazon more than once or twice. Expensive costumes are not what you need to enjoy the spirit of Halloween. You can create your own Halloween costumes at home with what you have in your closet. Here are some easy DIY costumes ideas.
Emoji
You do not have to paint yourself yellow to become an emoji. There are many human emojis that you can mimic. Buy lace front wigs with bangs online and pair them with glasses and a pink T-shirt to match the teacher Emoji. Buy lace front wigs with bangs online and put on a blue T-shirt to become the girl emoji. Going with a friend? Buy matching lace front wigs with bangs, make a pair of bunny ears, put on a black T-shirt and a pair of black shorts and wear a pair of black socks; strike the dancing girl emoji pose. Look at your phone to find the perfect  emoji costume.
Nerd
A pair of chunky glasses is pretty much all that you need to invest in. Wrap white tape around the bridge of the glasses. Wear a white shirt and pull your pants high above your waist. Put some gel in your hair and comb it flat. You can add suspenders and carry a calculator to complete the look.
Corporate Zombie
Pull out the oldest suit your own or borrow one that is bigger than you. A tattered suit from your nearest thrift store can be even better. With the corporate zombie look your make up is what completes the look. Zombie make up tutorials can help you complete your undead look.
Bee
Have you been dying to wear your yellow and black sweater but too scared you will look like a bee? Halloween is the time to pull it out from the back of your closet. Find a pair of black leggings. Take a hair band and two ping pong balls to put together your antennae. If you want to take your look further, then you can create a stinger and attach it to your leggings.
Sia
A black dress is pretty much all you need to create the base of your Sia costume. You do need to buy the two-tone lace front wigs with bangs online to complete the signature look. The giant bow can be made at home or bought from Etsy.
Instagram Photo
You literally can wear anything if you are going for this look. Just get a large cut out of the Instagram picture frame. Hold the cut out in front of you and strike poses.
Error 404
This might be the easiest costume to create for Halloween. Take a plain white T-shirt and some black paint. Write “ERROR 404- HALLOWEEN COSTUME NOT FOUND” and you are set. You can do this with any colored old plain T-shirt. You do not need makeup, you do not need accessories, and you do not need to buy lace front wigs with bangs online.

These are a few easy Halloween costumes that you can explore. For more ideas, use your imagination or search engines.

Love for Two Lifetimes by Martina Boone

About the Book
Title: Love for Two Lifetimes
Author: Martina Boone
Genre: Coming of Age / Young Adult

Two generations, two great loves, one devastating lie . . .

When Izzy unexpectedly loses her mother in a car accident, her world shatters. Their relationship has always been so close that Izzy can't imagine life without her. Nor can she begin to understand when she finds a secret box of love letters that her mother wrote but never sent. The idea of her mother hiding such intense feelings for more than twenty years without so much as a hint makes Izzy question everything she thought she knew--including the identity of her father.

Following a trail of clues overseas, Izzy steps into a world of glamour and English royalty, one which years ago forced her mother to choose between her obligation to her musical gift and her lover's obligations to his family, title, and estate. It's a world of secrets and masquerades, of heartache and betrayal. And in the midst of this world, Izzy finds a young man who feels as broken as she does herself. The two are drawn to each other--only to find that their parents' lies may present an insurmountable obstacle between them.

Thrown together on a coming of age journey of discovery that spans two lifetimes and takes them from a grand estate in the Cotswolds to a hospital bedside in India and ultimately to the Taj Mahal, Izzy and Malcolm try desperately not to fall in love. But some things are impossible...

And some loves are worth any sacrifice...

Uplifting, funny, tragic, and unforgettably, luminously romantic, Love for Two Lifetimes is a tale of two generations of love, a lifetime of friendship, a history of sacrifice, and one last, heartbreaking and hopeful choice revealed in prose, texts, and love letters. Written for young adults and grown-up romantics, if you love the romance of the royal weddings or any story by Nicholas Sparks, Love for Two Lifetimes will have you turning pages late into the night.

“Heartwarming, lyrical, soulful, and with just the right amount of humor: this book sparkles with authentic, layered characters and beautiful, thoughtful prose.” — Jodi Meadows, NYT bestselling co-author of My Lady Jane and My Plain Jane

Excerpt Four:

I think of Ian collecting reminders of the honeymoon he and my mother never had, and my chest hurts as if every tear I’ve cried since Mom died has been pumped back into my lungs. At the same time, I want to run to her and bury my face in my mother’s shoulder.

Sitting in his chair reading, Malcolm looks so much more together than I am. But living with this collection, all these Taj Mahals, knowing what they represented, had to have been hard for him. Especially knowing that his mother knew.

The black hole of missingness Mom left in my life hasn’t gotten any smaller in the months since she died. Was it like that for Malcolm, too? It had to have been worse. He was so little. And all these years, he’s been stuck here watching Ian grieve the loss of my mother instead of his own.

The truth is, he has every right to hate my mother. If I hadn’t known the magical, flawed, struggling, human Marcella Cavalera, how would I be seeing her now? I suppose genius always requires selfishness, sacrifice, and collateral damage to the people around you, but that doesn’t make it any easier to live with.

And Ian? Do I hate him?

I’m not sure I can hate someone who loved Mom that much.

To keep from staring at Malcolm while he reads, I wander over to a desk that’s filled with photos in silver frames. The pictures are all of Malcolm at various ages. When he’s very small, there’s a little girl with him, and they look a lot alike. Sometimes, there’s the two of them with their mother, who was very elegant. In other photos, Malcolm’s older, wearing a school tie and blazer and looking rebellious and lost. There are shots of him with other boys playing soccer and graduating in a cap and gown. But there isn’t a single photo of Malcolm with his father. No photos of Ian at all.

I turn to one of the bookshelves, running my fingers idly along the spines as I circumnavigate the room. Almost immediately, I find old friends: Shakespeare, Dickens, Homer, Goethe, Keats, Byron. Then I discover an ancient edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray and an even older copy of some of Oscar Wilde’s correspondence. It’s like finding a box of my favorite chocolates—I don’t know which to sample first. I plop back down on the sofa, but instead of reading, I find myself watching Malcolm. Two envelopes lie on the table beside him and he holds a third in one hand while he reads the corresponding letter.

His eyes are the clearest I’ve ever seen, so clear it feels like I can see right into him. Reactions chase each other through them as he reads. Anger. Rejection. Surprise.

I wonder if reading the letters will change anything for him, alter the narrative of his childhood the way they’ve turned the wheel on the kaleidoscope of mine. Every new fact makes me see my mother and my life a little differently.

But the letters aren’t proof in themselves. They’re only twenty years of Mom thinking on paper. Talking to herself and pretending to talk to Ian.
