Abbicen USB Wall Charger 3 Pack Dual Port

With so many devices now days using USB charge cords I personally believe you can never have to many many wall adapters laying around. I have our phones, our tablets, my pencil sharpener, some lights, and more that all work off of USB cables. The single port chargers are fine but with multiple devices it takes so many wall plug ins and my house is sadly lacking when it comes to plug ins.

This set of wall chargers from Abbicen has 2 USB ports in each of the 3 adapters.
These do not come with any charging wires but I have several wires laying around and most devices come with their own charge cables.  These wall chargers will charge any device that uses a USB type cord. These are iSmart Technology 2.1A USB Wall Adapters. So they charge faster then the regular 1.0 chargers. These adapters also have Multiprotect Charging Technology installed, so they protect your devices from over charging and overheating.

So far I have been very happy with these chargers. My devices charge quickly. I have more wall plug ins for other things like lamps. And if company shows up I have extra chargers if they need to charge their devices.

Check these out on Amazon

My Review:
Let me just say this book was no where near what I thought it was going to be. It was more Sci-Fi to me and I am not a huge fan of Sci-fi. There are also several stories going on at once in this book. The book was a bit confusing to me I have to admit, It was like it started in the middle of the story, you just have to keep reading to kind of figure out what and where the story is happening. The first several chapters kind of left me lost.

The main story in the book is about Mellis. She and her dog are kidnapped from our earth and taken to "NeverLand" actually its The Space in Between. The space in Between is a land in between Heaven and Hell.  Here she meets some of the strangest looking people ever. they are called the Penitents. Everyone in the Space in Between is deformed in some way. Her maid has one hazel eye in the middle of her forehead, one of the men who kidnapped her has lobsterish claws for hands, the Ruler of the Penitents has an extra set of small legs coming out of his hip, things like that. The Penitent have chosen these deformities as a pittance for a wrong their ancestors have done. It is up to Mellis to redeem the people and redeem themselves with their maker. But she must give up her life and family on Earth.

The story is interesting, even with being a bit confusing. There are some really graphic and gross parts in the book. There wasn't strong language or sex but think Michael Myers and other stories like that when it comes to gore. The characters are vivid and well defined. The writing is done very well, and it is a griping tale.

This Hallucinatory Life
At the risk of sounding certifiable, I want to share a secret. Sometimes I see things that aren’t there. I rarely mention this; I haven’t wanted to seem weird. But lately I’ve reconsidered. So what if I seem weird? Weird’s almost a job requirement for writers.
It began when I was 4 or 5, tucked into my parents’ bed with a high fever. (I used to get those often as a child. Coincidence?) My mother was there, looking glamorous for an evening out, and conversing with my father, who wasn’t visible from the bed. Neither was she. Despite the vision’s clarity, none of it was real. They found me sitting up in bed and chattering animatedly to an empty room.
Now that I’m older, the hallucinations often occur upon waking in the morning, as part of something called a “hypnopompic state.” They’re always accompanied by paralysis. Hairy black spiders the size of dinner plates scuttling down the bedroom walls are a favorite. Or a child-sized figure wearing a red hooded coat and holding an upraised knife (after watching Nicolas Roeg’s Don’t Look Now). My inability to move so much as a finger adds to the thrill. (Once the spiders or the pint-size killers disappear, so does the paralysis.)
During the transition from wakefulness to sleep, there’s the “hypnagogic state,” which brings on visions without paralysis (even more entertaining!). Within a few minutes of falling asleep, my eyes fly open and I’ll hallucinate a shape in the darkness by the bed, often an inanimate object. An oversize screen door falling across me, for instance, or a pair of 7 foot tall Chinese porcelain lions. Sometimes it’s a man. I’ll see him so clearly (including the colors and patterns of his clothing—extraordinary in an unlit bedroom at night) that I could give a precise description to the police. Whatever it is, it’s always threatening. I’ll scramble backwards across the mattress while shrieking, and after 15-20 seconds, the vision fades away. Oddly enough, once I stop screaming it’s easy to go back to sleep.
The rarest kind is the wide-awake, broad daylight hallucination. A few years ago I was rear-ended. A minor accident, but it shook me up. While exchanging my car for a loaner at the body shop, I got a call from the other driver’s insurance rep, wanting the loaner’s make and model. I read out to her what I saw on the back of the vehicle. “It’s a Toyota Titan pickup truck.”
I can hear someone saying, “Toyota doesn’t make the Titan pickup!”
No. Nissan does. But I didn’t know that then.
That’s not the worst part. Back home, I parked the truck and got out, glancing at the emblem in the grill as I passed. It wasn’t a Toyota. (Or a Nissan.) In disbelief, I walked around to the rear to be certain.
It was a Ford F-150.

C’mon, brain. Really?

second-hand truths can be deadly …

for prostitution and drugs.

But Lily's usual laser-like focus on the case has been disrupted.

Two weeks earlier, she learned she was pregnant by her murderous husband whom
she'd killed in self-defense. Unsure whether to keep her baby or place the
child of this cruel man up for adoption, Lily keeps the pregnancy a secret from
her colleagues.

Lily can warn her team, she and her new partner, Jeremiah, are shot at, and
another body is found.

When she discovers Jeremiah has a connection with the underworld, she is pulled
into a conflict that swirls around the boss's son who's hell-bent on revenge.

to Ibee and Jeremiah - placing Lily's life and her unborn child in danger.

Back at home, there were two reasons Ariel would never take

The man who smiled at the sight of blood was standing behind
her, breathing heavily.

of Police Brash deCordova is in her life. Visions of the perfect

Book Blast for The Unseducible Earl by Sheri Humphreys

The Unseducible Earl
by Sheri Humphreys

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Historical Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

When an earl who’s given up on love and has settled on an engagement to a darling of society falls for a Crimean War nurse, he must either forsake his love or embroil them all in scandal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt Two:
For a moment, she froze in the doorway. The earl stood at the sideboard dishing up his breakfast. He couldn’t have had any more than a few hours sleep, but he looked as though he felt much more rested than she did.
The country gentleman’s garb he wore this morning suited him. With his mahogany hair combed and his jaw clean-shaven, he seemed younger. Was it possible his posture grew even straighter when she entered?
He greeted her and offered a plate. “You’ve plenty of time before you’ll need to leave for the train. I believe your trunk is being packed now?”
The way he spoke, he might have been assuring a guest he regarded fondly. She almost gave a rueful laugh, but accepted the china and turned to the sideboard, very aware of his tall frame beside her.
She forced her attention to the perfectly prepared selections of food. She wasn’t particularly hungry and took a small portion of egg. After adding a slice of fried bread and asking the footman for coffee, she settled at the table. “I saw Captain Merrick before coming down. There was no one packing when I left my room.”
His plate loaded with what appeared to be a bit of everything, Cheriton sat at the end of the table, in juxtaposition to her. He frowned. “You’ve seen Jamie this morning?”
Yes, I have.” In unison they picked up their coffee and took long sips. Victoria held the warm bowl of the cup with her fingertips, enjoying the spreading warmth.
She’d probably never see Cheriton again, and she preferred to think of him as a devoted, if injudicious, brother. Failing that, remembering him as an attractive aristocrat would be acceptable. Unfortunately, his ardent defense of his brother had caused her to regard him as a man of determination and steadfastness.
She’d acceded to his demand that she leave, digested her outrage and sorrow, and then been left with an estimation of him that she didn’t understand or want. For some unexplained reason, and despite their discord yesterday, he affected her in ways other men did not.
He made all her senses heighten. Her heart and lungs worked harder, her skin heated, and her body yearned to draw close. He radiated confidence and strength and something intangible that unsettled her and made her aware of his masculine and her feminine differences. His face might be too intense for some, but she found it compelling.
Wild Hearts by Vivian Wood blitz
Wild Hearts
Vivian Wood
Publication date: November 14th 2017
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
In order to find love, you must set your heart free.
All her life, Faith has lacked a true, deep connection to someone. Her parents are long buried, her friends are too busy, and all she has is her job in corporate law to make her feel grounded. Each day is like the last with no telling if there will ever be something more for her. When a distant aunt passes away and leaves Faith her land, Faith has to put her empty life on hold and travel across the country to settle the estate.
A West Coast girl used to a fast paced lifestyle, Faith is ready to be entirely unimpressed by what she finds on the Georgia coast. That is, until she meets Alex.
Strong, tall, and decidedly anti-social, Alex is everything that Faith has been dreaming of her whole life. The fact that he scowls as he shows her the wonders of her new land doesn’t bother her… not like seeing him without his shirt does, anyway.
Alex has a lot of ground to cover before he can learn to trust someone again, but Faith is a lovely temptation. Slender, raven-haired, and smart as hell, she calls to him on a primal level… if he can get over the ghosts of his past.
Distrust, uncertainty, fear of change… In order to find their way to each other, they will each have their own demons to overcome.
EXCERPT:
Alex wasn’t sure if she kissed him or if he kissed her. All he knew was that suddenly his lips were on hers, and they were softer and sweeter than he could have ever dreamed.
He felt her hands on his chest, and somehow his arms were around her waist. They fit perfectly in that deep curve right above her hips. He wasn’t sure, but he thought he felt the tip of her tongue against his. Alex let out a noise in the back of his throat.
She closed her eyes as he began to work the lotion into her back. Alex started at her shoulders and slid a finger underneath the strip of her halter top. He worked his way down, across her shoulder blades. She let out a moan as he hit a tense muscle in her lower back.
Alex paused, and a flicker of embarrassment washed over her. She expected him to stop, but instead he did it again, deeper. She moaned again, and the rest of her body started to respond.
His touch didn’t just release that tight muscle in her back. It started a fire throughout her entire body. Damn, she thought. She could drift away, let this man touch her all over like he was touching her right now.
His thumbs expertly glided across her lower back as he worked out the kinks. Faith’s breasts tightened, and she felt her nipples pebble. She sucked in her breath, head bowed, and could see her nipples as they responded to him.
Alex’s gaze dipped down to Faith’s lips, glazed with a gloss and smelling of Christmas. He wished he’d had the time, the mind-set, to enjoy those lips the first time he’d tasted them. His eyes continued downward to her breasts. From this angle, he could see straight down the button-up gingham shirt to the pink lace bra below. Her cleavage was deep and deliciously tempting, though he was disappointed he couldn’t make out her nipples. When they’d hardened in that little swimsuit, he was so turned on he could almost taste them between his lips.
He was tempted to kiss her to the point it was almost unbearable. To nibble on those lips and run a thumb across her breasts. Hell, I even know what she tastes like. But this time it would be different.
“Alex,” she started, but he couldn’t hold himself back anymore. It took less than a second to close the distance between them. His lips were on hers, exploring. Faith parted her lips farther to welcome his tongue against hers. God, she tasted sweet.
With one hand, he cupped her chin upward to him. The other pulled her close against him. His hardness slipped with ease between the heat of her soft thighs. Those little shorts really are good for something besides a tease.
Alex needed more, wanted more, and by the way Faith responded, he knew she did, too. He started to walk her backward, through the open bedroom door.
