#Orgalif Heavy Duty Kitchen Scissors

I love to cook. I also cook from scratch. In my kitchen I use scissors almost as much as I use a knife. I need a good sturdy and super sharp pair of scissors. These scissors by Orgalif are perfect. They are super sharp. The handles are easy to hold onto even when my hands are wet and slippery. There are 2 pairs in the pack so I can have one for meats and one for everything else. I do with the handles were different colors, so I could easily discern which pair is for meats. I did take a permanent marker and color the green lines black so I could tell the pairs apart though.  Each pair also has a bottle opener on the blade. The blades are made of stainless steel so I don't have to worry bout them rusting. Also it is safe to toss the scissors in the dishwasher or a sink of hot soapy water to get them clean. I am very happy with my scissors and can see these being around for a very long time. The blades can be sharpened when they start to dull.

I received this free but am not required to write a review, but  I decided I should let people know about my experience with it.

2-Pack Boys vs Girls Foam Dart Slingshot Air Blasters (Blue & Pink) by Liberty Imports

Nice hard plastic nerf style guns. There are 2 guns in the set each boxed separately. So can be given as separate gifts. Each gun comes with 12 soft foam darts with a rubber cap on the end. One gun is for a girl in purple and pink colors, the other is for a boy but could be used for another girl gift, it is red and blue.

The guns are easy to use. When first opened the plastic bow part need to be snapped into place but other then that the guns are ready to go. Just put a dart in pull the string and let go. I am using my set as gifts for 2 of my Grand Children for Christmas. These to me are just as nice as the name brand guns but a whole lot cheaper to buy,

I received this at a discount but am not required to write a review, but  I decided I should let people know about my experience with it.

"Food"- Matching Card Game by MKgames

Match games are great. They are not just good for kids though. As we get older our memory tends to suffer as well. So playing a match game will help adults stay on the memory ball as well. This awesome game will make you hungry as you play it. There are 20 different sets of yummy looking foods to match together. The game pieces are thick cardboard and can take abuse of the kids playing. The pieces are puzzle style, they fit together to make the picture. There is also an informative instruction sheet that comes with the game. The game is good for learning the different foods, the ingredients in the foods, and for the memory. This would be a great addition to a home school family as well.

I received this free but am not required to write a review, but  I decided I should let people know about my experience with it.

#Orgalif Folding Step Stool great for kids and adullts

Super nice step stool. Great for the kids and adults. I am kind of short and my kitchen chairs have wheels on them. My husband freaks out every time he seems me climbing on one to reach something in a cabinet. This stool has calmed his nerves a lot because I can use it to reach instead of a chair. I love that the 9 inches gives me just enough height to reach the top shelf of the cabinets. I also loves that it folds up and can be placed out of the way. It fits perfectly in the bottom of my pantry. It is very light weight but sturdy. I am not super model sized but it can take my weight with no problem. The kids can also use this to reach the sink. It is made of a hard plastic with little rubber grippers all over the top . The legs pop into place very easily and when I am done with it it takes about 5 seconds to fold back down and put away. I could also store this beside the stove or anyplace else since it is just about and inch thick when folded.

I received this free but am not required to write a review, but  I decided I should let people know about my experience with it.

Book Excerpt
Nicholas guides me to the side of the bar, to the back and unexpectedly we reach a lift, we step in and he presses P on the lift button. Alone in the lift I face him dead on, I can’t  help myself, his scent, and  presence it’s  doing things to me and awaking parts of me that have been dead for so long since Danny and I hit our rough patch. I grab his tie and pull him towards me then kiss him with passion. He’s stunned and taken back I can tell. His hands are full with a  champagne glass in one and a bucket with iced champagne in the other, he’s  unable to touch me or push me away; by the way he’s  kissing me so passionately in return I doubt very much we wants our passionate kissing to stop. We reach our destination and I release him, leaving a lipstick stain on his lips I playfully remove it with a finger and step out the lift in front of him swaying my hips. I half turn around to face him, Nicholas is still standing in the same spot I left him with his champagne glass, ice bucket and a huge wide grin on his face…. Damn he looks so good.

“What are you waiting for Mr D’Croix?”  I turn and say over my shoulder in a seductive way, he laughs. “You took me by surprise Ms. Kate.”

Author Interview- Kim Knight (A Stranger in France)
How did you come up with name of this book?

It just came to me to be honest. I thought about what the story is about and the connection made between two complete strangers, who meet in France and then fall deeply in love while in two separate countries, due to various aspects I’ve thrown into the story. Sounds corny I know but honestly, it just came to me based on what goes on in the story.

Do you read yourself and if so what is your favorite genre?

I’m a massive reader, before I started writing seriously I ran a book club here in London. We’d read a few books per month. I have stepped down from running the club sadly, to focus on writing. My favourite genres are romance of course, thriller, historical fiction, African –American fiction, and crime fiction.
Do you prefer to write in silence or with noise? Why?

I write with music on all the time, it feels more natural to me and I find I’m focused with some soft background music. Music also helps to inspire me when I’m writing. When I wrote A Stranger in France I did purposely put certain songs into scenes, to show how a character feels rather than tell. Some of these songs just popped up on the radio or my Spotify player at the right time, as I was writing a scene it fit. I always have music on as I am a big music lover. I edit in complete silence though, which is odd.
If you could choose one of your books to be made into a movie which would it be and why?

I’ve only wrote two books! My second is out this month (November) it’s called Not Just for Christmas. Out of the two I think A Stranger in France would make a good movie, as it’s a full length novel not a novella. It’s also full of suspense so movie wise that could be cool.

Do you write one book at a time or do you have several going at a time?

I’m a one book woman. I like to focus and give my all emotionally and mentally to one story, so I focus on just the one at a time. Same with reading I only ever read one book at a time, I love to engage fully rather than be pulled away to re-engage into something else, whether it be another author’s work or my own.
