book blurb

For San Diego’s elite FBI agents, risking their lives is standard procedure when it comes to capturing the city’s most dangerous criminals—but falling in love is the greatest risk of all.

Kat MacKenzie knows something is terribly wrong at the Diablo Beach Nuclear Power Plant, but she can’t figure out if it’s computer error, equipment malfunction, or human sabotage. Unfortunately, the only person she can trust with the problem is the man she left at the altar two years ago. If Dillon doesn’t already hate her, he surely will once he discovers why she abandoned him.

The last person he expects to call him is the woman who broke his heart. But FBI Special Agent Dillon O’Malley can’t ignore Kat’s plea for help—not when national security may be at stake. As enemies become clear and catastrophe threatens, can Kat and Dillon put the past behind them to save the day and secure their future?

book blurb

Not every Valentine is a saint . . .

Corruption. Greed. Illicit sex. Murder. Private investigator Valentine Shepherd thinks she's seen it all, and her strange ability to glimpse the future gives her an edge no one else in the world has. But when her fiancé is killed trying to exonerate his client, billionaire Max Carressa, Val makes it her personal mission to bring the people responsible to justice, no matter the cost. Convinced the two men are linked by more than attorney-client privilege, she enlists Max's help in her investigation and gets more than she bargained for . . .

On the run, Val and Max must uncover who wants them dead and why. The answer leads them to a conspiracy that has Val herself at its center. She doesn't understand how or why, but time is running out to expose the truth and escape the danger she knows is coming . . .

excerpt

Val sprinted down the narrow passage, crashing through mud puddles and leaping over bags of trash that littered her escape route. She followed the alley when it turned right, scanning her path for any opening into the street that might save her life. Before she found a way out, the alley dead-ended at a tarp-covered chain-link fence with barbed wire on top and a padlock trapping her inside.

“No!” Val yanked on the padlock. It didn’t budge. She tried the only door in the alley, a metal behemoth flush with the brick—locked. “Goddammit, no!” She kicked the door, and it barely moved.

Val pulled out her pistol and pressed herself into the corner of the alley’s dead end. She’d been in firefights before while in the military, though not against American citizens, and not alone. She didn’t stand much of a chance against two armed cops when she had nowhere to hide and no cover for support. In all her visions she’d never seen her own death. There was no reason this couldn’t be it.

But she’d be damned if she was going down without a fight. Val planted her feet on the wet pavement, gun trained at the alleyway’s bend, ready to shoot the first thing that entered her line of sight. The rain picked up, an icy October shower that matted her hair to her face and would have chilled her to the bone if not for the wild adrenaline racing through her veins. For what seemed like an eternity she listened to the approaching footsteps and stood her ground, waiting to die.

Then she heard it—a chain rattling. Val ripped her gaze away from where her killers were due to arrive any second to see a set of bolt cutters slip through the fence and snap the padlock off. The chain slinked to the ground, and someone pulled the gate open.

One of her pursuers had somehow doubled back, and now they surrounded her.

Val spun around to face her flanker, finger on the trigger to let loose a hail of bullets into Sten or his friend’s smug face. She gasped and just barely stopped herself from firing as she registered Max Carressa standing in front of her, holding the bolt cutters and recoiling from her gun. She hardly recognized him in jeans and a black motorcycle jacket, a baseball cap deflecting the rain out of his startled face, though his gorgeous eyes were a dead giveaway.

“What the hell?” she said.

Max grabbed her arm. “Come on!” He glanced behind her, where Chet’s murderers thundered up, just around the corner. “Do you wanna die here or not?”

Date of Publication:  9/1/2016

ISBN: 978-1-945193-25-5

Word Count: 30000

Cover Artist: Erin Dameron Hill
Book Description:

He’s here on vacation. They’re here for him.

Samson and Dane are werewolves who act as guardians of their pack. They're also lovers, but they both long for the third person they know will make their home whole. Their Chosen.

Ryan has no idea he's even a werewolf. He's visiting rural New Mexico and Colorado to write horror novels, not get it on with the two hottest men he's ever met. So why can't he keep his hands off them, and why is biting suddenly so hot? Can Samson and Dane convince Ryan that he's like them, and that he needs to leave his city life behind?

Excerpt:

The pup slipped out of bed late in the night. They’d all slept like they’d been on a hunt, which he guessed lots of Mexican food and sex could simulate. In fact, Dane slept on, not even snuffling when the pressure of Ryan’s body left the mattress.
Samson, now, he wasn’t a deep sleeper, and he knew when someone was trying to make like coyote ugly and not wake him so they could slip away.
That simply didn’t work for him.
He reached out and wrapped one hand around a lean hip. “Where you going?” Samson murmured.
Ryan jumped like he’d been popped with a rubber band in the balls. “I missed my real estate appointment.”
“Well, it’s not like you can call your agent at this time of night, honey.”
“No. No, I guess not.” Ryan stood there, pale in the streetlight filtering in from outside.
Samson loved how Ryan was different, like a marble statue, but warm, alive. He had to wonder if the wolf was pale, too, thin.
“How do you look in your other life?” he asked.
“Like a writer, I guess? I just have a place in Dallas. I’m blocked, so I came out here.”
“Blocked how?” Was it too cold out there on the porch for a guy from Dallas? Samson grabbed an extra blanket and took Ryan outside with him, the pup following easily when he tugged.
“Like writer’s block? I’d been working on a series and I’ve written myself into a hole. I don’t even want to write zombies anymore. It’s silly nonsense, really, but I thought if I came out to the boonies and learned all I could about something new the plot would come to me. I mean, I told my agent I was writing martians, but really, I need to finish the series.”
“Zombies.” Samson blinked, then chuckled, pulling Ryan down with him on the big swing dealie and wrapping them in the blanket. It felt natural as breathing, just like touching Dane always did. Poor Dane. Two orgasms and the guy was out like the proverbial light.
“Yeah. They’re in right now.” Ryan’s nostrils flared and he knew the pup was scenting him, learning him. Exceptional instincts. Samson approved.
“Hmm. I think you ought to add in werewolves.” What would Ryan say to that? Could be really be completely unaware of what was inside him? Samson knew the wolf was in there.
Their alpha, Bruce, was going to give them no end of shit, both sets of his guardians ending up with dormant Omegas. What were the chances?
“Werewolves? They’re almost as done as vampires. Shame, though. I love the trappings of the genre, really.”
“What’s your favorite part?” This was fascinating. It was like seeing himself through someone else’s eyes for the first time. Seeing a werewolf movie with someone who didn’t watch horror…
“The whole animalistic versus human situation. It’s a turn on, just like the whole biting thing in the vampire world.”
“I like biting. So does Dane.” Samson nibbled at the nape of Ryan’s neck.
“Uhn.” Ryan shuddered for him, the entire motion pure sex. “Does he?”
“Mmmhmm. Oh, he’ll tell you he’d rather do the biting and scold for being bitten, but he catches and pitches, if you get me.” Dane could fight like a stone cold motherfucker, but he could bottom like a hot little slut, too.
It all worked for him.
“How long have you two been together?”
Samson pondered that. “Well, we’ve known each other since infancy, I guess.”
“Oh, wow. No shit? That’s cool, huh?”
“Yeah. Sometimes it’s annoying as hell.” Samson chuffed out a laugh. “I adore the fucker, though.”
“Well, good. You two pick up strangers a lot?”
“No.” He tilted back Ryan’s head so he could look into those pretty eyes. “No, we don’t.”
“No?” The blue in Ryan’s eyes were a perfect match for the streaks in the mussed hair, and the combination of looks served to make Ryan looked so young.
“No. You were different right away. We knew you were there before we ever stepped inside.”
Ryan chuckled softly, shook his head. “That’s impossible.”
“No it’s not, honey.” He stroked that flat belly, tugging the heavy ring that pierced Ryan’s cock and Ryan moaned, ass pushing back against him.
“That’s it. Feel it. We’re connected. All of us.”
“God, that...that feels like magic.”
“I love your skin. So smooth.”
“I wax, remember?”
He blinked. Seriously? Ow. Potential for a guy that didn’t mind a little sting, but… Ow. His balls tried to crawl up in his body.

GDEALER 20ft 30 LED Crystal Ball Waterproof Outdoor String Lights Solar Powered

Really nice set of solar lights. I love decorating for all holidays. My biggest thing is getting power to everything. With these solar lights I don't have to worry bout that anymore. As long as i get the soar box to where it will be in the sunlight most of the day I am good to go. When the sun fully charges these lights they will stay on up to 8 hours.

This light strand is 2 feet long with 30 crystal ball style lights. These lights are weather proof so great for outdoors any time of the year. These have 2 modes steady on or flashing. The off/on contol and the mode switch are on the back of the solar box. I love the freedom of setting the lights up and not having to remember to turn them on or off. These do that work for me. They burn until they run out of charge or util the sun comes up.

PowerTRC® Chirping & Dancing Bird (Noise Sensor)

This chirping dancing bird plaque is just what my porch needed. The kids think they need him worse though. They love watching him move around and chirp. It is sound and motion activated. So they like to stand next to it and yell or clap to get him to move and sing. The plaque is a 3D piece. You have to put him together but pushing the bird down into the limb and push the limb into the spot of the plaque. This takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. There is a batter box on the back side of the plaque. There is no off and on switch on this that I can find. There are actually a couple different chirp and nature sounds that this will play. The bird moves his head wings, and tail around, and his mouth opens to look like he is really chirping. The plaque is lightweight and made of plastic. The kids have dropped it and it stayed together so it seems pretty sturdy.

3 Pcs Feraco Cool Elvish Script Stainless Steel Ring for Men

Nice set of 3 men's wedding bands. These come in black, gold, and silver. My husband likes having his choice of color to wear. He does not like wearing his actual wedding band to work. We had to replace one already. So when I ran across this set of stainless steel wedding bands I figured it would be good for him.The rings fit true to size. They have a line of script engraved around the band. The bands are 6mm wide, which is the sie he prefers. He will also be wearing these out on occasions when we are getting into something that we need our hands for a lot, and to the beach. He won't worry if he looses or messes one of these up as much as if he does something to his actual wedding band.
