NBTM: Chrysalis: Personal Transformation From The Inside Out by Ann Vanino
The Face on the Mountain Kindle Countdown Deal
One visitor from Earth will challenge a century of tradition.
Ivan Delphi, amateur sculptor and emissary from twenty-sixth century Earth, is sent to Dixi Novo to inspect the long-neglected colony world. Massive windstorms have frustrated attempts to terraform the planet. Descendants of the original settlers—religious pilgrims from the American South who traveled there a century earlier—have turned to worshiping an ancient crystalline sculpture carved onto a nearby mountainside.
The leaders of this new society are anxious to win the approval of Earth’s new government, but jealously protective of their rigid customs, their new faith, and their unchallenged authority over the planet’s population.
Delphi has many tools at his disposal: technology, diplomacy, charm, and trickery—but will any of them be enough to stop the colony from descending into chaos? Or will more forceful tactics be necessary?

With no formal training on how to be Queen, Haven must rise to the occasion with the help of her best friends, and personal guard, or risk losing everyone she has ever loved.
With war to the West, and no escape to the East, the evil tyrant Kadia sets her sights on the six kingdoms. Haven's neighbors are quick to fall under the swords of Kadia's shadow soldiers, leaving a sea of bodies and a clear path to Haven's only home. KssFire® Chinese classical design Plug-in Sound & Photo Controlled Night light
I have had a lot of night lights over the years. I like to keep one in the long dark hallway in my house. There are no windows in this hallway so it dark even during the day. Also the genius who built my house pout the one and only light switch at the far end of the hallway. The light is great if you are coming out of one of the bedrooms or in from the back door, other then that it is dark until you get to the end then you can turn the light on. The hallway is also a narrow one so there is no room for a table with a lamp on it for light.
This light is awesome though. It really helps in the hallway. No it does not really light up the hallway so you can see well but it is lie a beacon in the dark I guess. I love that it is not only motion activated but also sound activated. The light is LED and white. I love the nice Chinese style lantern cover on it. You can go through the 2 modes and turn the light off by a switch on the side. It plugs into a regular outlet. The light is about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide.
