Flora Polka Vintage High Waisted Bikini Swimsuit

I was looking for a bathing suit for my Grand Daughters Beach Birthday Party this coming weekend when I was offered this one. I was more then happy to give it a shit. I have had 3 kids and I am not a spring chicken anymore so I loved that it was high waisted. No one wants to see my stretch marks. This is a very comfortable bathing suit to wear and actually has a good bit of support in the top. I usually do not wear 2 piece bathing suits because ti shows more then I like. This one covers all of my stretch marks and looks great with its ruched front. The top ties at the neck and back area. It has a cute bow in between the 2 breast cups. I love the blue color.

I did throw this in the washer and dryer and it came out great. No shrinking, color bleed or fading. Watch out Daytona Beach here I come.

Atist Men's Stance Socks Unisex Running Athletic

My husband really likes these socks. They are very comfortable to wear. The socks are thick but not really hot to wear. He likes the band around the arch of his foot. He says that really makes the very comfortable to wear.

The socks are made from 75% Cotton/15% Spandex/10% Polyester. There are washer and dryer safe. I washed and dried the set we have with no problems at all. They did not shrink, the color did not bleed or fade. These socks come above the ankle but are not to mid calf. My husband wears boots to work, but the socks were too low to wear with the boots but at home he wears his tennis shoes and they are great with them.

These come in a very nice box and would make a great gift in the box they come in. There are 4 pairs of socks in the set 2 of each color.

BLURB:

Loner and history buff Troy Hart gets more than he bargained for when his psychic connection to the past leads him to the mountains of Colorado. The legend of buried treasure is nothing new, but falling in love is—and that’s the last thing Troy wants.

Troy’s visions of the old west are all fun and games, until the ghost of an outlaw forces Troy to fulfill his dying wish. To save his own life, and the life of the woman he loves, Troy must follow the trail of greed, betrayal and revenge on a treasure hunt for lost Civil War gold.

Now the fun is over and the game is survival as Troy battles the elements, a dead man, and his own heart deep in the remote high country.

Excerpt One:

He gazed at her with those haunted smoky-quartz eyes. “Come with me after the snow flies. Stay all winter.”

“I haven’t been with a man in a very long time. Years. So long that I’m afraid I’ve forgotten what it’s like.”

The corners of his mustache lifted. “Don’t ask me. I’ve never been with one.”

“Aren’t you ever serious?”

“Not if I can help it. I’ll try if you want.”

She imagined him as a lonely little boy in a sprawling mansion. There probably wasn’t much laugher in that house. “Don’t try too hard. I like your sense of humor.”

“Good to know. If it’s any consolation, it’s been a long time for me, too.”

“Remember what you said about life being too short to live in fear?”

He nodded.

“I’ve been living in fear for most of my life. I don’t want to live like that anymore.” She unsnapped his flannel shirt and slipped it off his shoulders. She ran her hands over the solid muscles, down the silky black hair on his chest, to the perfect six pack of his belly. His skin pebbled under her touch.

“Are you sure?”

“More sure than I’ve ever been.” She unbuckled his belt.

Interview with D J Davis
As a kid did you write or make up stories?

I constantly made up stories in my head when I was a kid. We had horses and while riding I would pretend I was a cowgirl or a pioneer. My family camped a lot and I loved to look up at the stars, snug in my sleeping bag, and imagine being an explorer in a land no one had ever seen before. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. As a kid hiking with the dogs, it was fun to dream about mushing in Alaska, or handling tracking dogs on search and rescue missions. It wasn’t until I was forty that I started writing. The mountains, dogs, horses, and the wilderness—all those childhood dreams—are at the forefront of my stories.

Where does most of your Character inspiration come from?

Most of it comes from things I’d like to do, places I’d like to see, ways I’d like to be. I get to live vicariously through my characters.  Even better, because when all the bad stuff happens to them, those things that push them to the very limits, I don’t have to experience it firsthand.

Do some qualities of your characters come from real people?

Absolutely. I think every writer takes qualities from those around them and slips them into their writing. It’s natural. What’s fun is trying to find qualities from two or more people that clash on every level and put them in the same character. Even on your character’s best days, he’s still at odds with himself. There’s a certain level of satisfaction and triumph when she learns to live with her idiosyncrasies and be happy in spite of, or maybe because, of them.

What was the inspiration for your book?

The inspiration for SUMMER STAR was those childhood dreams. The hero, Troy Hart, is a psychic who can see the past associated with certain antiques and relics (something I always wished I could do). He loves the mountains and makes his living restoring old cabins. Things get bad in a hurry when a ghost from the old west attempts to force Troy to fulfill his dying wish.

What is your favorite spot to write?

I love to write setting details and character descriptions outside. I wrote the premise and a few pages of notes for SUMMER STAR while leaned up against a crumbling old miner’s cabin at 12,000 feet elevation in the mountains. When writing the story on my computer, I’m parked at my desk next to big windows with in-your-face views of the stunning Sawatch Range in Colorado.

What advice would you give budding writers?

Don’t be your own worst enemy. Doubting yourself can stop you cold. You’re going to write some really bad stuff, but that’s okay. We all do. It’s how we learn. Write anyway.

Green Convenience Car Mount 360° Rotation

I really like this phone mount. I have used other window mounting phone holders and they are nice but I cannot reach them to answer calls or even change my GPS. this one being in a flexible tube I can reach it. It comes out over the edge of the dash. It bends back up out of the way when not in use as well. It has a very strong suction and does not bounce loose even on bumpy roads. It will hold several sizes of phones. I have Samsung S6 and it will hold it even with the case on it. I use my phone for the GPS a good bit and it is so nice to have it where I can see and hear my phone when using the GPS. It is also great for hands free phone calls as well. I can hear my caller and they can hear me.

Cos2be iWatch Bamboo Wood Charging Stand

I do not own a apple watch or a Iphone, I do have a fitbit and I do have a Samsung phone and this works great with what I do own. The stand is just beautiful the quality of the stand is awesome. It has like a mini butcher block look to it. It is very sturdy. It is lightweight but heavy enough to stay in place. The watch or FitBit in my case wraps around at the one end and the charging cable feeds up through the bottom of the stand and there is a dip that the wire fits into that runs over to the watch. I love how all of your wires are basically hidden. The phone charger wire is also hidden and comes up from the bottom. My phone sets very well in the cutout for it. The whole thing is about 2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches long. It takes up a lot less room on my night stand then just laying them on the table while charging, and I don't have to look at the ugly wires.

Denee Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace

I am a huge fan of essential oils. I love the aroma as well as the healing qualities each of them have. I have diffusers all over my house and even one in my car. I love being able to have my essential oils with me at all times and with this beautiful necklace I can do just that.

This is a beautiful necklace made from Hypo-Allergenic 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel. The pendant is a locket where you place one of the  included felt pads with a few drops of your favorite essential oils. The necklace comes with 4 brightly colored felt pads. There is a design of a tree on the front that is just awesome at how intricate the design is. The openings of the tree allows the aroma to sneak out. The pads can be washed in warm water to allow them to be reusable.

The chain on this necklace is 24 inches long. The pendant is about 1 inch across. Your body heat warms the pendant which in turns warms the oils. This is great for anyone who likes essential oils. Perfumes could also be added to the felt pads. This comes in a nice cardboard gift box, and would make a great gift.

Decaker 501B XM-L T6 1000 Lumens Bright LED Flashlight

Great flashlight. Wow is it bright. This flashlight comes with everything you need. It comes in a very nice plastic case. Inside the case you get the flashlight, the rechargeable 18650 battery, and the battery charger. Mine did not have the bike mount or the remote power switch. I don't really need those things but it says it was supposed to have them. I am still giving it 4 stars because it is a great light.

It has 5 light settings with a half push of the power button. The settings are high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS. It has a built in belt clip on the base. The base is very strong and sturdy made of aluminum. It can take some drops and bangs without breaking.
