Insect Repellent Spray by Gardencense

Mosquitoes are starting come out bad here in Florida and with the threat of the Zika Virus I need a bug spray that will really work. Not only for me but for my husband and kids. I do not like using chemical based bug sprays on the kids or myself for that matter. I have tried several all natural bug sprays in the past, some have worked some have not. This one does seem to keep the bugs away. It does have a very strong scent to it that is not horrible but not one I really like either. But since it works I will deal with it.

This bug spray is a mixture or organic Soy Bean, Citronella, Lemongrass, and Peppermint essential oils. The citronella is very strong. But we have not been bitten and it also repels gnats which are horrible here as well. They don't bite but they love going for your face and are very annoying.

Hydracentials Insulated Reusable Lunch Bag, Purple

I am loving this lunch bag from Hydracentials. It is a great size and holds a lot. It is 10.5 inches long X 9.5 inches High  x 5 in Deep. It has a zipper ed closure to keep everything inside. It has a peva inside liner that really does help keep my lunch and drink cold with added ice packs.

I chose the purple one and love the color. I love how the lunch box almost looks like a purse and the handles make it very easy to carry. This can be tossed in a wash machine when it gets dirty. It will hold a full lunch and a bottle of water, tea, soda, whatever.

This is also great for a day at the beach. Take your lunch in it, then when ready to leave I put our bathing suits in it so I did not have sandy dirty wet clothes all over my car. It held my bathing suit, my husbands, and my 2 grand children's suits with a little room left over, since I folded them. I love in Florida and the grocery store is about 15 minute from my house, so I will be using this during the summer months to get my ice cream home without it melting. It will hold a 1/2 gallon container of ice cream with no problem.

Dreamy Sleep Synergy Essential Oil Blend 100% Pure & Premium Essential Oil Blend By Aviano Botanicals

I am a huge fan of Essential oils and have them in diffusers all over my house as well as in my car and I wear a diffuser necklace pretty much all of the time. Essential oils are great for making my house and car smell great but they are also great for their healing qualities for mind, body, and soul.

Dreamy Sleep Essential oil from Aviano Botanicals is a wonderful blend of Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Mandarin, Cedarwood, Petitgrain, and Orange essential oils. It has a wonderful scent to it, no one scent over powers the rest in this blend.

The oils comes in a  amber glass bottle with a Euro Dripper top. The Euro dripper top lets one drop at a time out of the bottle. Since most essential oils only need a couple of drops to fill a room with scent, the dripper works great. Have you ever tried to pour 1 or 2 drops from a open topped bottle, Impossible. The Essential oils are 100% therapeutic grade oil, this is great for using in diffuser and on the skin. This should not be taken internally you would need food grade oils for safe ingestion.

This is a great oil blend and does have a calming effect and does help you relax and go to sleep. I use it in my bedroom diffuser at night.

RicoRich Bluetooth FM Transmitter for Car, FM Radio Stereo Adapter

By car stereo does not have bluetooth so I needed/wanted a transmitter. I do have an auxiliary port on my stereo but I can only plug one thing in at a time and I have to deal with wires hanging. This FM Transmitter works with the data port in my car and the radio with no wires. Plug it in turn it on tune the radio to a dead channel and you are ready to go bluetooth. This also has 2 USB ports to plugging in my phone and my MP3, plus it has a spot to plug in a car charger so I can also charge other devices. When my husband and I are together we can use this to plug in both of our phones at once. It is smallish only a couple inches tall and wide. It does not get in our way at all. The connection is tight so if it gets bumped it does not loose it's connection. The sound quality is great it offers Call Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction, which really does work. It does have a LED screen with red lights. I was a little worried about the lighting being to bright at night, but it is not. So far I have had no problems at all with this transmitter and it is working great.

As a healer to the supernatural, she’s no stranger to navigating the impossible maze of magical complications. But getting lost in the magic isn’t the problem; finding her way back home is.

Excerpt:

The club lights blinked out, and in the humming dark an amplified voice yelled, “Give it up for Maximillian!”
Laser lights flashed around the smoky stage, revealing human-shaped shadows and a DJ setup.
 “Make some noise,” the DJ yelled.
A spotlight strobed across the scene, then snapped back to the DJ. I stopped adjusting my white go-go boots and squinted, trying to get a good look at him. The crowd roared as he leaned over to a beanie-wearing guy on his right, a cigarette dangling from his lips. Beanie-guy cupped the end of the cig and flicked a lighter. Smoke obscured the DJ’s face and I sighed. I wanted to see him, dang it. I’d been running late tonight and missed the usual meet-and-greet. Story of my life.
 “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” the DJ mumbled into the mic as he twisted knobs and pushed buttons, puffing smoke and music into the air.
Even with the spotlights, the details of his face were buried under swirling smoke and pulsing laser beams looping the hazy club. The first high notes picked like an electric guitar sample, and words I couldn’t make out repeated in jittery bursts over a subdued bass. Black lights flipped on, turning teeth and all things white into glow-in-the-dark neon. The fog machines bellowed clouds of dry ice that burned my nose. Damn, shouldn’t I be immune to it after so many shows?
Rising up from my kneeling squat, boots finally tied, I dropped my hula hoops onto the platform, then set one thigh-high boot at a time inside the circles. Jutting a white-sequined hip, I waited for the music to build to that explosion of bass and high-pitched alarms that had been driving me deaf the past two months. Yet, I couldn’t say I hated the job. I’d tried different settings, but this was definitely the best fishing spot. The catch I was after liked the nightlife and large crowds.
And this club was packed to the gills. Good. Better pickins. I bent with deliberate flare, popping my ass into the air and giving it a shake as I scooped up one of the glowing hoops and spun it around my hips. I gyrated and dipped, swinging the hoop higher around my exposed midsection, my arms swaying to the music.  I didn’t have to think about my next move. It poured out of me like the music from the DJ’s hands. I turned in lazy circles, taking in the jumping crowd as one living, breathing beast. Individual faces surfaced in rare glimpses.
When I completed a 360-degree turn, the bright eyes of the DJ arrested me. I sucked in a breath. He was the hottest thing in L.A. at the moment, exploding all over the music scene. His lips twisted in a sideways Popeye grin, and holding my gaze with penetrating eyes, he flipped black hair over his shoulder and winked. Damn! Heat flushed through me in a prickly flood, followed by a startling surge of disappointment when he returned his attention to the MIDI boards.
He bobbed up and down, one hand constantly flickering as it tweaked the boards in front of him. Everything about him moved to the music, even the occasional finger jabbing his black-rimmed glasses back.
The music decelerated as he pulled the cigarette from his mouth and raised it to the sky, granting the crowd a huge smile that said something mind-blowing was about to happen. The mass of bodies bayed in anticipation. He tucked his smoke back between his lips, and his shoulders rocked as he worked at bringing the music. He raised his palms to the crowd, encouraging them to take it up a notch, and they obliged with glee.
Suddenly, he lifted his euphoric face to the sky, swaying back and forth in focused ecstasy. One arm shot up, an index finger pointing the way to heaven, as he squeezed his eyes shut.
A synthesized female voice cried out, “OOOH MY GOD – god – god – god - god!”
Music burst in a sizzling shower over the DJ and crowd as they leaped together to its driving beat. It got to me. He got to me. I licked the heavy gloss I’d applied preshow before I realized what I was doing, and pressed my lips together trying to fix it. Things lower clenched. Too bad he’s so young. I sighed. And not a vampire.
A tingling on the back of my legs dragged my attention back to my goal for the evening. Peeking over my shoulder, I drove the hoop around my hips, the LEDs smearing white and seven-colored orbits over my mostly bare body. Turning toward a pair of crimson eyes, I dropped my Day-Glo-painted eyelids to half-mast as his burning gaze slid over my boy-shorted backside.
My white halter top glowed in the black light as the strobes made the sequins flash like Christmas lights. The music paused unexpectedly and the DJ mumbled into the mic, “I just finished this song half an hour ago on the tour bus.”
The horde screamed its ridiculous approval. When he turned the music back on, I kicked the second hoop into play. It was all improvised, of course. I had no idea what the DJ was going to do during the show, and he apparently hadn’t known either, considering I never got a playlist. So, to prepare, I’d practiced to all his music all week.  This song sounded familiar, but if he’d just created it, I guess it had to do with absorbing his style.
The blipping sample of a laser blast penetrated my sternum, my heart tripping with it. As a quiet drum calmed the moment, I returned the hot stare of my quarry. I couldn’t make out the details of his features, but when I blurred my gaze and tapped into what most healers referred to as their “third eye”, I could see the subtle energy pulse of his aura: definitely vampire. Anticipation bubbled up my spine.

You Can Have My Heart, But Don’t Touch My Dog
by Dixie Cash

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Contemporary Romantic Comedy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

After two divorces, Sandi Walker, entrepreneur extraordinaire, is on her own and loving it. As a devout animal lover, she has made a success of the only gourmet pet food bakery in Midland, Texas. She’s also a pet foster parent and has fifteen assorted abused and unwanted animals at home. When a golden-colored stray dog with an abundance of personality appears at her door, she can’t refuse him and she can’t keep from falling in love with him. She names him Waffle and gives him a permanent home.

General Manager of the Flying C Ranch, Nick Conway, has searched for months for his lost dog, Buster. Giving up on ever finding him, he looks for a new dog and finds a puppy at a pet grooming shop. While he went to the shop to see a puppy, he also encountered a beautiful redheaded woman he can’t put out of his mind. Little does he know that she found Buster in an alley and has now claimed him as her own. Sparks fly between Sandi and Nick when he steals Buster and sues her in court for custody. It will take a mouthy parrot, a sitting judge, the matchmaking skills of the Domestic Equalizers and Cupid himself to resolve this conflict.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt Three:
Close to sputtering, all Sandi could manage was, “I love Waffle and he loves me.”
“Look, I apologize for coming across wrong. I got overexcited when I realized I’d found my dog.” His deep voice almost became a purr. Sexy and seductive. “I know that women who are alone tend to get involved with their pets, especially if they don’t have much social life or kids to take care of and—
“What? You know nothing about me. About my life.”
“Now don’t get upset. I asked the woman who gave me this puppy about you. She told me you’re divorced and don’t have any kids, so you give all your love to animals.”
Such a rage raced up Sandi’s spine her head might explode and her eyes might burst from their sockets. She squelched the powerful urge to grab her head with both hands in case that very thing happened. She would kill that Prissy dead, dead, dead the very next time she saw her. “Prissy Porter discussed me and my personal life with you?” Her voice had become as shrill as a harpy’s. “Why, in all my life, I’ve never—”
“Now, calm down.” Nick patted the air with his palm. “I didn’t mean to upset you. What I mean is, you said you were in love with a parrot, too. What that says to me is you throw that “love” word around pretty freely. Maybe you need a boyfriend or something.”
That was the last straw. “What?” She sank to the floor on her knees beside Waffle and wrapped protective arms around his neck. Summoning her dignity, she set her jaw and lifted her nose. “I’d like for you to leave my store, Mr. Conway.”
“But—”
“I’d hate to call the police, but I will.” She leveled a searing stare at him that said she meant business. But it was hard to be tough when she was sitting on the floor and he stood six feet tall above her. Their stares locked.
“Okay, I’ll leave,” he snapped. “But I’ll be back. Buster is my dog and you can’t refuse to give him to me.” He reached down and stroked Waffle’s head, putting only inches between her face and his. “Don’t worry, Buster,” he said to Waffle. “I’ll be back to rescue you.”
He straightened and stepped back. Waffle sprang forward. Even with all her strength, Sandi barely held him in check. She scrambled to her feet, still hanging onto his collar. “We’ll see about that. Have you ever heard possession is nine-tenths of the law?”
He glared at her. “Oh, yeah? Have you ever heard a picture’s worth a thousand words?”
LINKPAL Universal New Car Steering Wheel Phone Socket Holder
I actually have several car phone mounts, some I like some I don't. This is my first steering wheel mount and I love it. It is great for using hands free calling and for using the GPS on my phone when going someplace. It hands down into the opening of the steering wheel, and does not get in the way while driving. There is a rubber strip that wraps around the steering wheel and locks onto the front of the mount. I have a kind of thick cover on my steering wheel and it fit fine. It does not slip around while driving either. The part that holds the phone is plastic and spring loaded to fit different types of phones. The mount holds the phone sideways or in landscape view, which is fine when using the GPS. If setting in a  parking space you could play games or watch movies with this mount even.
