C+f Slim Packing Cubes

 This packing cube is actually larger then in looks, not just online but in person also. I was a little surprised when this arrived. It just looked small. So I drug some clothes out of the closet and wow, it will not hold a weeks worth of clothing but it will hold enough for a weekend. I have a set of the larger thinner sets and this hold as much clothing as the medium if not the larger one. This will also be great for my unmentionables when we go on vacation this summer. It will perfectly hold my under wired bras,a s well as my other under garments.
   This packing cube has a zippered closure. It has a mesh part at the top so you can see into the cube a little bit. It is machine washable and can also be tossed in the dryer. Cannot wait to be able to use this for real in April on our anniversary weekend and then again in May on our 2 week vacation.

Blossom Reusable Cloth Menstrual Pads

  These menstrual pads are great. They are not to long, they are not to thick, and they are not bulky at all. The materials are very soft, both on the outside and inside. There is a single snap where they snap around the crotch of the underway to hold them in place. I love the wings, these keep your underwear cleaner then with a regular sticky disposable pad.. These do not seem to slide around or bunch up.   They are very absorbent and keep you dry feeling. The cute animal fur prints are very nice. I love the charcoal colored bamboo on the inside, much better then a light color. These pads could also be used for incontinence pads, as well as period pads. Machine washer and dryer safe. Do not use fabric softener, it will take away from the absorbency. I really love the fact that I never have to make a midnight trip to the store. I will never out of sanitary products again. In the long run these will pay for themselves in about 2 to 3 months time, after that they will begin to save you a lot of money for something you throw away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
Joe could feel more sweat beading on his forehead.  He didn’t back away from Blonsky’s stare despite his own fear.  He couldn’t.  He just wasn’t taught that way.  His mom, dad, granddad, and grand-mom had all taught him to never back away from a stare.  A man is only as good as his handshake and if he can look another man in the eye without flinching, his granddad had always said. It was somewhat of a family motto.
AUTHOR Bio and Link:
Belart Wright was born and raised in Detroit Michigan with a short but adventurous stint in St. Ignace during his childhood. Always poor, Belart had to learn to use his imagination to fuel the fun he had. Whether it was drawing cool and dangerous looking heroes to creating fully fledged storylines with his action figures to writing stories about kids similar to himself with fantastic abilities and destinies, Belart was always an expert in delving into other worlds that were not his own.
Always naturally talented at writing, it took the advice of his brother, and a little creative boost from his high school creative writing teacher to get him to realize that writing was something he could do really well and pursue as a career. To this day he revels in building worlds and characters from the ground up such as the worlds of Hell Warriors, Story of K, Cyborgs and Deadmen, and Pannam which are all working titles.
In his spare time Belart tries to update his two blogs whenever he can, but mostly just ends up writing or editing. As a huge gamer he plays a lot of games online and off with his favorites at the time being Borderlands 2, Phantasy Star Online, X-Men Legends, and Dark Souls. He just wishes he had more time to whittle his impossibly long gaming list down which goes all the way back to PS1 and Sega Genesis classics. He and his buddies at FlubberKnuckle Studios are also working on several new game IPs. He is also patiently waiting for the next installment of the superb Legacy of Kain series.
Q & A with Belert Wright
Topic: What made you decide to write?
When I think back on it, I’ve been a storyteller all my life.  I was the sort of kid who came up with episodic storylines whenever I played with my toys.  Whenever other kids would come over to play, I’d have to give them the run down on the happenings of everything that happened on “my world” before we could start playing so that the story continued in a proper fashion.  All my toys had names and powers and I had all types of separate storylines going like: wrestling, space adventures, mecha, superheroes, etc.  The characters and tone of these stories would always change depending on what type of story I was running that day, but I always kept the storylines separate.  I also drew characters and came up with profiles for them like their names, powers, a brief bio and their relations to other characters I drew.
I had an assignment in middle school where I and the rest of my class was assigned to write a story.  It was a simple language arts project just meant to teach us the mechanics of writing a story.  Of course, I got carried away and made a mini book called Brothers of Destruction.  It was only eight chapters long, but it was all I needed to see that writing was something that I enjoyed.
After that, I’d draw more and write more bios for my characters.  I’d even created a vague plotline in my head about many of these characters.  Fast forward to eleventh grade and I’d already created several notebooks of these drawings and bios with no real plan of doing anything seriously with them.  My drawing talent hadn’t ever been very good and I didn’t even consider only writing about these characters to even be an option.  I think that I thought that words wouldn’t be a suitable vehicle to bring these characters I’ve been drawing to life (how little did I know!)
I had moved in with my brother during the summer of the previous year.  The first thing he had me do then, was these homework assignments to keep me active I guess.  I did them, including writing a short story.  My brother read that story and liked it a lot.  He himself is a writer.  He gave me some encouragement and I began to experiment with writing during this period.  I didn’t do a lot of it though.
Now, back in eleventh grade, I had a creative writing teacher named Ms. Jean who had a very interesting method that she used to get us to write stories.  She’d give us a random black and white picture and have us note down all the details we can about it.  The pictures were completely random.  One day I had a picture of Dr. J dunking on someone and another day I had a picture of some actress in the 50’s taking a glamor shot.  Usually you’d need about ten or twenty details before you could proceed to the next part of the exercise which was to write a story based on the picture you received.  It was a truly fascinating assignment and one we’d do every day.  I loved it and to this day I still hold on to all of those crazy stories that I wrote.
So in a nutshell, it took the encouragement of my older brother and my teacher to get me to think of writing as something that I could seriously get into and excel at.  A few years after that, all that experimentation and encouragement led me to write my first novel, Hell Warriors, in 2008.  I’ve been writing ever since and coming up with tons of new ideas and saving them for when the time is right.  Now you guys and gals can find at least three of my stories on the internet and one currently in print.  I hope to increase both numbers pretty drastically soon.
Thanks for your time fans of T’s Stuff!
BLURB:
What if happiness were compulsory?
What if your thoughts were not your own?
Plunge into HEDON for soul-twisting sci-fi.
In 2051, the Bhutanese Empire rules post-apocalyptic Shangri with iron-fisted Buddhist compassion. Happiness is compulsory, but making everyone happy isn’t easy in an overpopulated world. Breeders are ghettoed, homosexuality is mandatory, and Shangrians’ happiness levels are strictly monitored by hedometers implanted in their heads. Become depressed, or feel too happy without helping others feel the same, and The Tax Man will get angry. Very angry.
Gemini and Cyan, winners of the pregnancy lottery, are on the run. Cyan can’t fall pregnant, and Gemini is addicted to the Experience Machine. Will they evade The Tax Man, and find a way to end the brutal pleasures of Shangri?
The lovechild of Brave New World and The Handmaid’s Tale, HEDON is gritty satire on a dystopia drunk with bigotry and positive thinking.
“A one of a kind dystopian novel.”
“As politically depraved as anyone could desire.”
“This is storytelling at its best”.
– ReadersFavorite.com 5 star review of HEDON
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Excerpt One:

The day before his father died, Gemini had carried the old, old man to the summit of the district heap. Cardboard boxes, plastic packets, clothes hangers, rags, and a thousand other remnants of the past had sagged, crunched and scratched beneath Gemini’s bare feet. By the time he’d reached the top, he was out of breath. But it wasn’t the weight of his father in his arms, clinging to his neck. His father weighed less than a memory. No, it was the thought that this would be the last time they would share the view together.

The heap was higher than the ghetto Wall, higher than the Devas. From the top, they could see it all. Rows and rows, and rows, of tin shacks stretched behind them. And before them, a mile away, was the great Wall, brown as the earth. Beyond was the city, its brown-white spires shrouded in fog. Brown fog.

His father had looked at Gemini then. Really looked. Looked at him, his son, not as a war veteran. Not as someone from the past. “Boy,” his father’s voice was hollow, soaked up by the heap, “are you happy?”

The breath in Gemini had caught. Of course he was happy. Everyone was happy. It was Shangri. But his lips formed a different reply. “No,” he said, and stared out beyond the Wall. His cheeks burned.

“That’s okay, boy. They say they’re happy. But they’re not. Nobody is.”

Gemini swung his head to study his father’s eyes. The blasphemy. Sure, there was unrest here, in the ghetto. Sure, there was discontent. But few spoke such … such blatant heresy. Such negativity.

“Find a girl,” his father said, placing a veined hand on his son’s. “Be happy with her, but not too much. Never forget …” His head twitched. “Never forget that there is more.”

His father fell silent. Gemini scooped together a pillow of detritus so the dying man could lie comfortably as he stared out at the city. The city the old man had fought for, and lost.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt :
A gentle wind is blowing, but it is too cold for the leaves to carry any scent. Seconds tick away, as I wait.
A few minutes before the half hour, I hear the whining of the Lantesks’ garage door and soon after the rumble of a car engine coming to life. Mrs Lantesk is on time to go to work.
Ten feet long the old woman had said of the gravel lane. It isn’t much and I count the seconds after I first hear the crunching of gravel under the car’s tyres. On three, I take a large step forward, bracing myself for the impact I know is coming.
An instant later, the front of Mrs Lantesk’s car hits me on my right side and I fly to the ground, instantly losing all sense of direction. Up is down, down is left and I am only certain of one thing.
I hurt.
Turns out, no matter how ready you are for it, no matter how much planning is involved, or how carefully you give in to the motion and roll to the floor to absorb as much of the momentum as possible... getting hit by a moving vehicle hurts.
The car comes to an abrupt halt an instant later, tyres screeching against the gravel. The engine dies and I hear the car door open. It is followed by a steady stream of feminine and high-pitched, ‘Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.’
Monica Lantesk must be wearing heels for I hear her feet tapping the pavement as she hurries towards where I lie sprawled.
‘Are you all right?’ she asks in between another chortle of oh-my-Gods.
I am, for the most part. I’m not seeing stars or anything and I take quick stock of the situation. Nothing seems broken; my glasses are missing, but I still have my cane in hand. I push myself up on one elbow and make a show of moving the cane about in what I hope is a dazed and confused manner. There is another wave of oh-my-Gods, as the woman realises I am blind and she starts to pat me awkwardly on the shoulder.
Interview with Cristelle Comby
 What was the inspiration for your book?
Blind Chess is the direct continuation of the previous book, Danse Macabre, and the conclusion of a grand story-arc that begun in book one.
After being shot at the end of Danse Macabre, Neve lays in the hospital, comatose — prognosis unknown. It’s up to Egan to pick up the torch and go after the man who ordered the hit on his partner, alone. That’s a big step up for a man who, just a year ago was nothing more than a blind middle-aged History professor with a the most mundane and boring of lives.
Egan really shines in this book. He was a hollowed man before Neve came along. He had his uncomplicated life, with a carefully planned routine. Neve broke the walls he had built around himself and shook his life up-side-down. She gave him a chance to become someone better, something more. Everything led to this moment — Egan’s final trial. Blind Chess is the story I’ve been dying to tell since the beginning of the series.
What is your writing schedule?
I used to write on the weekends, but lately I haven’t done much of that. I had to clock in a lot of extra hours at work and that left me too drained to do much of anything when I got back home. Hopefully things will get back to normal in 2016. Aside from the weekends, I write a lot when I’m on Holidays… Nearly full-time.
What is your favorite spot to write?
In bed. I have this special folding tiny table on which I can place my laptop, and a folding thingy to lay my back against. I stuff it with cushions, slip in underneath the covers and get to work. I like being warm and cozy to write. I also need a quiet space to think.
What advice would you give budding writers?
Never give up. Write for yourself, first and foremost, and do it the way you like it. I promise there is someone, somewhere who’ll enjoy your story.
I live outside Washington, D.C. with my wonderfully supportive husband and two daughters, one of which is approaching her teenage years. Help us all! If that isn’t enough, we have a Great Dane and an English Bulldog to keep us on our toes. It’s crazy around here and I love every minute of it!
Writing is my third career. I didn't set out to be a writer, it was just meant to be. My Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech prepared me well for my first career as an Engineer/Program Manager. My second career was in Human Resources. Long story, but I figured it out. I believe the best start for a writing career is to be a reader first and I’ve been an avid reader my whole life. I've loved to read ever since I picked up my first Nancy Drew mystery in the fourth grade. Now I love reading just about everything, but I don’t read sad books and I don’t watch sad movies either for that matter, no matter how many awards they’ve won. Life’s too short and who needs all that strife to bring us down?
Many of my words have been penned late into the evening, which explains why I’ve never viewed whatever television show you recommend to me. I would, however, love to hear your recommendations for a great read!
TeckNet® Ultra-Slim (4mm) Illuminated Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard
Since my son in law likes his Tecknet keyboard so well and I played with it myself. I decided to get one for myself since I hate the keyboard on my laptop. I got the Backlit Bluetooth keyboard for myself and Love it. I am actually typing this review with it right now. There is no number pad on the keyboard and I do miss that but the keys are so much better then my laptops keyboard I don't mind that much.
 The bluetooth paired very easily with my laptop and both are working great with each other. I do love that this keyboard is wireless. You can used it plugged into the laptop, or other device or even the charger also. It is small and very light weight. Easily portable. I did add a couple of the stick on rubber pads to the bottom of mine to make it non skid. It did not slide around while I was typing with it without the pads but just as a extra measure I added them.
 I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
