Fate can blindside you in an instant.

In one blinding moment Meg Johnson went from successful chef to woman running for her life. No friends. No relationships. Don’t even leave the house if you don’t have to. Meg has stayed under the radar because she abides by these rules—mostly. When her elderly landlord and only friend in town is missing, she has no choice but to break yet another rule and answer the questions of the policeman who comes to her door.

Tyler McMann’s life changed forever because of one secret. He knows as soon as he sets foot on Meg’s front porch that she has secrets of her own. He can’t allow himself to become involved with a woman who’s clearly hiding something, but he can’t deny the attraction between them either. Can he learn to trust Meg, and can he trust fate to lead him down the path he’s meant to travel?

Justin Simms joined the Army to distance himself from his family and the painful secret he’s hiding from them. When he has to travel home for his brother’s wedding, he worries they’ll find out he’s not as happy as he pretends to be.

Justin notices Annie immediately. She’s smart, beautiful, and recently out of a relationship—all the traits he looks for in a woman. She’s also wholesome and openly looking for Mr. Right—two things that scare the crap out of him. Yet, spending time with Annie makes him happy. He doesn’t have to pretend.

Annie’s a strong, intelligent woman who is successful in every way except for one. Her first sexual encounter with her teenage boyfriend was a disaster and has haunted her ever since. Annie just knows that if she finds true love, her insecurities will fade away. She isn’t ashamed to admit she’s looking for love. Her parents have had a happy marriage, so why should she settle for anything less? When Annie meets Justin, she thinks he might be the one she’s looking for. Will Justin realize that meeting Annie really was fate and deal with his past before it’s too late?

I live outside Washington, D.C. with my wonderfully supportive husband and two daughters, one of which is approaching her teenage years. Help us all! If that isn’t enough, we have a Great Dane and an English Bulldog to keep us on our toes. It’s crazy around here and I love every minute of it!

Writing is my third career. I didn't set out to be a writer, it was just meant to be. My Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech prepared me well for my first career as an Engineer/Program Manager. My second career was in Human Resources. Long story, but I figured it out. I believe the best start for a writing career is to be a reader first and I’ve been an avid reader my whole life. I've loved to read ever since I picked up my first Nancy Drew mystery in the fourth grade. Now I love reading just about everything, but I don’t read sad books and I don’t watch sad movies either for that matter, no matter how many awards they’ve won. Life’s too short and who needs all that strife to bring us down?

Many of my words have been penned late into the evening, which explains why I’ve never viewed whatever television show you recommend to me. I would, however, love to hear your recommendations for a great read!

TeckNet® Ultra-Slim (4mm) Illuminated Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard

Since my son in law likes his Tecknet keyboard so well and I played with it myself. I decided to get one for myself since I hate the keyboard on my laptop. I got the Backlit Bluetooth keyboard for myself and Love it. I am actually typing this review with it right now. There is no number pad on the keyboard and I do miss that but the keys are so much better then my laptops keyboard I don't mind that much.
The bluetooth paired very easily with my laptop and both are working great with each other. I do love that this keyboard is wireless. You can used it plugged into the laptop, or other device or even the charger also. It is small and very light weight. Easily portable. I did add a couple of the stick on rubber pads to the bottom of mine to make it non skid. It did not slide around while I was typing with it without the pads but just as a extra measure I added them.

Thunder® 3 in 1 Design Ice Scrape Snow Shovel Snow Brush

This tool is awesome. I don't now about for snow because I live in Florida, but for washing my car I love the Chenille brush and the nylon brush. The handle is made of alloy aluminum and 2 tools can be put on at once. I put the brush on one end and the chenille pad on the other end and I can fully wash my car this way and really don't even have to get my hands that wet. It does have a very nice end for scraping snow off windshield and the brushes would be great for wiping away the remnants when done scraping. This can be a year round tool in every climate since you can scrape snow in the winder and uses the awesome brushes in the summer to wash the car.

Thunder® Snow Off Car Windshield Snow Cover Sun Shade Protector

I love in Florida, we don't have snow, but we have tons of sun, and that sun is hot. This may be great for snow but it is amazing for sun. This has a reflective side, that keeps the inside of my car a whole lot cooler then without it. I was going to send this to my Mother In LAw in Pennsylvania who does have snow but I think I will keep it since it does help so well with the heat in my car.
The Cover is thicker then any I have ever seen. It is 79 X 42 inches so great for just about any vehicle. It folds down and fits nicely into the included pull string storage bag. It has a fold in the center that would be great for getting the snow off of the windshield with pout getting covered in it. It is very flexible all the way around which is really helpful for getting the snow off. No more scraping snow, just pick the blanket up shake and done.

Arm Sling Shoulder Immobilizer by One Planet

My mom tripped and fell breaking her arm and shoulder. She had to have a reverse shoulder replacement.. She has to wear one of these immobilizer slings, the one they gave her in the hospital she said was awful. It was made of material and felt like it was cutting into her. So when asked to try this product it was perfect timing. Mom is now wearing this set and is more comfortable. This has no rough biting edges. It is full adjustable with velcro on the sling and the immobilizer itself. This goes over the shoulders instead of around her neck. She can loosen or tighten at any time with just a pull on the velcro. This is not to say that the velcro is not strong, becuase it is. The velcroed pieces are large enough to do the job very nicely. It is machine washable also.

31 in 1 Sports Kit Accessories Bundle Kit for GoPro - 8GB Memory Card by Action Camera Kit

Great set of accessories. I can now take my Go Pro into pretty much any situation or on any adventure and know that I can get great pictures as well as keeping my Go Pro safe. There are 31 pieces to  this set, and it comes in a great zippered case. These folks even thought about tossing in a 8 gig memory card. That alone makes this set valuable to me.
I love taking pictures, I also love taking videos as we ride. We ride the motorcycle as much as possible. Riding the motorcycle is so different from going in a car, there are no walls s to speak or windows to stop you from seeing the full view of everything around you. The GO Pro and these accessories make it so much easier to be able to share that view with others also. With this set since it does come with a car mount, which I did not have I can now take better video's when we do take the car. Before I had t either hold the camera or try to finagle a phone mount to get video from the car. I also love the tripod. The tripod is a flexible one, so can be set pretty much anywhere, just bend the legs to make it more stable and also it can be set on uneven ground with a couple bends and twists.
I do have another accessories set it boasts about how many pieces are in it but they counted each and every screw, glue pad and things like that so I didn't have more then a couple of pieces that actually were useful. This set is the real deal with real mounts, not just pieces and parts.

Bath Toy Organizer + 6 Bath Rubber Toys + 2 Extra Heavy Duty Suction Cups from Bath Time

I love this bath tub toy holder. I have had a couple toy holders but they were small and only held a couple of toys. This one is actually large enough to hold all the bath tub toys we have. It also comes with a 6 pack of squeeky toys to get the fun started.
The kids have several bath tub toys and they are pretty much all over the place in the bathtub, every corner is full and for me to take a bath or shower I have to move the toys. Now With this great bag, the toys are all in one place. I really like that it comes with 2 types of suction cups. We use the larger heavy duty ones, instead of the smaller plain suction cups. This bag is made of mesh so the toys are able to drip and dry, no worries of mold. I also like that it can be tossed in the wash machine. By adding a couple of safety pins to the top I can toss the whole thing toys and all in the washer on gentle cycle, but do not let it go into spin cycle and the toys and bag get a good cleaning.
