Hammock Tree Straps from Live Infinitely

I have a couple different sets of Hammock Tree straps. so far this is my favorite set, for a few different reasons. One being they are over 11 feet long, all my others are shorter, some you can only use with a sapling and who wants to trust your body to ta tree that s not going to hold your weight. This set also does not stretch. One you get your hammock strapped up where you want it and climb on you will not end up dragging the ground because the straps stretched out. They are also weather resistant, so I can leave the hammock up in the back yard. These straps are made out of a very strong Poly Filament Webbing. Each strap has a weight limit of 200 pounds so you can actually put 400 lbs on your hammock before you compromise the straps. These are universal and will work with any hammock. They even come in a nylon storage bag for when you are not hanging out in the back yard on your hammock. I live in Florida so it is not often I have to take mine down.

Christmas Santa Bottle Cover by Ohuhu

This adorable Santa bottle cover works great with either a wine bottle or a 750 ml whiskey bottle. It also works on a 2 liter soda bottle. It is about 12 inches long 6 inches wide and is made of felt and yarn. There is a hole at the very top for the bottle spout to fit through. It has a piece of elastic there to help hold it to the bottle so it doesn't slip.
This would make and adorable addition to a Holiday party table. I plan of using it at our Family Christmas Party for the fruit punch for the kids.
I am not sure if it is machine washable or not but I will just be hand washing it in cool water and letting it hang to dry.

ShoesEasy Magnetic Sanp Lock Closure Kids Water Sandals

These are the cutest little shoes I have seen in  very long time.  I love that they have a magnet on the foot strap, and the magnet is very strong. My Grand Daughter is 3 and she can put her own shoes on now. The shoes size is pretty much right on and they fit her perfectly.  My Grand daughter wore these shoes outside, she got them very dirty, she got them wet, and she had a blast playing, the shoes stayed on he feet. They did not shrink in anyway, and some warm water cleaned them right up with no shrinkage when they dried. We both love the little cars decorating the shoes. They are adorable.
They have several other kids sandals besides the ones with cars on them .

I received these shoes in exchange for my honest review.

This very vibrant colored Kite has become not only my Grand Daughters favorite toy it has also became a huge fight. She loves it so much and wants to play with it daily. There is not wind Daily :) She really enjoyed laying with this kite. I loved the fact that it is very well made and made to last. It is not like the cheap use once kites. This one is made to use time and time again.
This kite is also very large. It is 42 inches wide and is 114 inches long with 52 inch tails  on each side. It come with 100 feet of string so you have everything you need except the wind. It is Red, White, and Blue.

Legend Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

This cute little tin of organic grown Matcha Tea is wonderful. It is a powder. It is almost neon green in color and the the taste is out of this world. It has 137 times more antioxidants then regular tea, it gives you an energy boost without giving you the jitters. One serving of Matcha Tea is equal to 10 glasses of regular tea, I do not drink this in the evening or at night. This can be used as a slimming tea, or Detox Tea, so this is actually not a tea you want to drink a lot of if you are going to be out and about. It does have an amazing flavor, none like I have had before. I have tid lots of Green Teas in the past but the flavor of this one is so much better to me. The Matcha Tea dissolves very quickly and does not leave a grainy residue. This is my first time trying Matcha Tea but I will be back for more.

A Wicked Tale
ARe Books

Genre: M/F, Werewolves, PNR

About the Book

Best way to tame a bad wolf? Be a little wicked yourself…

Carmen finds it hard to trust—then again, her father went mad and had to be put down by her current Alpha. Carmen might hold a position of power within the pack, but part of her always wonders if they could turn on her as quickly as they did him. When she finds a man who she’s pretty sure the current Alpha failed on a lot of levels, she decides to take matters into her own hands and prove Dara isn’t as perfect of an Alpha as everyone thinks.

Seth lost his mate, but he survived. He can’t stand to watch other wolves happily carrying on with their lives and mates after he’d failed to protect his own. Dara allows him his privacy and ensures that he survives, even if there are days when he wishes otherwise. When one headstrong and opinionated she-wolf decides she’s going to end the unique hell of his isolation, Seth has to make a choice…

Kick her butt to the curb or answer the call to claim her. But can he dare claim another mate when he knows he failed once to be the man his mate needed?

Available at ARe
Excerpt:

The stink of humans slathered in too much cologne and perfume competed with the smell of open beers and possible promiscuity in a cloud of inevitable shame—at least to Seth. He wasn’t sure why he still bothered to come down from his hill to visit the dance hall, but it was a ritual he practiced on one specific night of every year.

“Seth!” called Alex Jewel. “Good to see you, man.”

Seth grunted and nodded as he passed over the cover charge. “’Sup, buddy?”

“Not much. Haven’t seen you in ages. How the hell have you been?”

With a shrug, Seth headed past him and down the hall that led to the bar and dance floor. The ritual must be completed exactly for him to feel satisfied, which meant one beer on the outside patio, one inside, then he could go home.

Not that fulfilling the pattern actually made him feel any better at the end of the day. Still...

He ordered the first beer and headed outside with it. Few were out on the patio, but then again that was typical, too, for this time of year. Only the really dedicated smokers or secret lovers looking for a quiet dark spot would bother to brave the humid, still summer air—filled with tiny and annoying biting bugs—to sit outside.

Watching a single large-wing katydid perched on the fence helped him pass the time. He ignored the humans with their clouds of smoke and lust. The katydid busily cleaned his wings while Seth sipped the beer. It wasn’t as cold as he preferred, and he never drank this brand any other time of the year, but that, too, was part of the tradition.

Soon, his beer had been emptied and the katydid had flown to do whatever important insect tasks awaited him in the darkness.
Heading back inside, Seth caught the scent of a wolf and scanned the dance floor to see if he recognized whoever it might be.
He pinpointed the direction of the aroma to be near the stage, which meant the smell must be coming from one of two women dancing near the speakers. He couldn’t help the half smile the sight brought him. One of the women wore silver leg braces, yet danced with carefree abandon and a smile. Her movements might be restricted by her obviously weak legs, yet her joy flowed as effervescent as anyone else’s in the room, if not more. Next to her dark haired beauty, her dance partner looked particularly mundane. The other woman had boy-short blonde hair and seemed just as happy. Something about the pair caught his wolf’s attention, but he wasn’t sure what other than the fact it was good to see an obviously crippled woman having a good time with a friend.

Shrugging off the oddity, he moved to the bar to order the second ritual beer. Once he had it in hand, he headed for the small booth at the back of the dance hall as per routine. From there, however, he broke the pattern a bit. Instead of staring at the Elvis cut-out hanging on the wall below a clock with only fives—because it was always five o’clock somewhere—he watched the girls dancing.

At one point, the blonde went and got them both drinks, so they backed away from the dance floor to cool off then went right back to dancing. His wolf stirred again, but he disregarded it. But then the blonde looked in his direction, a flash of yellow in her eyes. His wolf more than stirred at the glance, practically clawing him from the inside. Unsettled, he stood to leave. He’d finished the beer and therefore the dance hall portion of the ritual.

At the door, someone caught his arm. “Hey, do I know you?”

REEF LIBRE Blog Tour

Book Description for Reef Libre:

Cuba reefs host apex predators and coral cover at optimal levels. While Cuban reef vitality may be linked to economic default and no shoreline development, no agricultural pesticides or fertilizers and limited human population growth, the Castro regime is aggressively developing its reef potential.

Seas to the south are now 100% shark protected.

Most Cuba travelogues advise “getting off the beaten path,” but Reef Libre examines that path, to see where it might lead as things change. Will Cuba reefs remain protected? Or is this perilous age of natural decline a last chance to see a healthy reef system?

Robert Wintner and the Snorkel Bob Jardines de la Reina Expedition herein provide narrative insight with photos and video. First stop is the baseline: Havana urban density. Down south at Cayo Largo, reef collapse seems imminent with 600 guests changing daily, and the phosphate-laden laundry water flowing directly to the deep blue sea. Will Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism step up with the Jardines de la Reina paradigm? Rising from the Golfo de Ana María, Jardines is a thousand square miles of mangrove estuary, for ages compromised by constant extraction of its biggest predators, taken as food. Protected, it now rises on the world reef stage.

A DVD comes with the book in a paper sleeve glued to the inside cover. Reef Libre, the movie, runs about an hour.

Author's Bio:

Best known as Snorkel Bob in Hawaii and around the world, Robert Wintner captures Cuba above and below the surface with urgency and hope. As a pioneer in fish portraiture, Wintner demonstrated social structure and etiquette in reef society. Reef Libre goes to political context, in which human folly will squander Cuba’s reefs as well—unless natural values can at last transcend political greed. As pundits joust over who did what to whom and why, Wintner ponders reef prospects in view of political changes.

Robert Wintner has authored many novels and story collections. Reef Libre is his fourth reef commentary with photos and his first overview of survival potential in a political maelstrom. He lives and works in Hawaii, still on the front lines of the campaign to stop the aquarium trade around the world.

My Review of Reef Libre:

The pictures in this book are amazing. They are so beautiful. This book is about the reefs of Cuba. A DVD also comes with the book, and it is just amazing, not just the filming but also the way they explain the different species. They get up close and personal with the sea life. Between the book and video this could make me want to learn to swim. I would love to go to Cuba and see all the sites both above water and below.
This book and DVD are not just a bunch of pictures. You get history, you get different species, you also get to know how some species are almost extinct in some areas but are plentiful in Cuba because they are protected by law.
I personally was very interested in the story in the book, my Grand Daughter however was thrilled with the pictures in the book. Every time she comes she sets down with this book and just oohs and Ahs at the pictures. She also loves watching the DVD. I am thrilled with this book and it will have a place of honor in my living room for years to come. I learned not only tons of about the sea life featured int he book and video but also some about Cuba as well. The writing and narrating in the book and DVD are very informative and engaging. There is nothing about this book and DVD I do not love.
I would never have the courage to go swimming with the sharks or the crocs for that matter but am so glad Robert and his crew did. The pictures and video is so clear you can actually imagine your are there with them.
