UV Urine Detector by Amicare Pets

Amazing light, ok it is a little gross seeing bodily fluids glow, but at a least I know where I need to add a little extra elbow grease and disinfectant. With a little one potty training and 2 dogs this is a great thing to have. It does not have to be used in a totally dark room, but the darker the room the better the spots will show up for you. This has 9 bright LED UV light bulbs, It takes  3 AAA batteries which are not included.

Despite his gruff words, can she find the love forever absent from her life?

Pompous and determined, Henry Chapel revives sagging rags and brings them to their former glory. When Lawson Publishing begs Henry to take over the Chicago Daily News, he is more than happy to comply; after all, it had been his favorite newspaper as a child. Excerpt:
“And you lied to me, Vixen.” They stared, chests rising and falling with hard breaths. He didn’t care for her name calling. The heat of a hundred fires lashed his insides, eased up to his face until he had to wipe his sweating brow.
“You said you were a businessman.” Her full pink lips remained thin somehow. Her body remained tense, shaking somewhat.
“No, I didn’t. You said that.”
“And you didn’t disagree.” She placed both hands on her hips. He followed the movement, taking in the curves of her suited body and remembered how luscious she was without clothes on. A twitch in his crotch jerked his eyes back to her blushing cheeks.
He smirked. “Well, I was in the middle of something.”
Her angel face reddened, proving to him how angry she was. In fact, the steam of her anger misted into the air between them. “You’re just a con!”
“If I’m a con, what are you?” Her eyes widened. He’d hit a nerve. But he had to continue. She wasn’t going to get off so easy. “Does your employer know you dance at the Tease? Do they know you strip for money?”
He was being cruel, and he should stop. Or he should take her and kiss her like she needed to be kissed. Only his mouth would shut her up—he’d proved that the night before. Though, she might not be screaming his name there.
“How dare you!” Her large eyes glossed over.
Just as he was going to say something, apologize for being a brute, the elevator doors opened. Both sets of eyes turned to the empty vessel waiting for passengers to enter. One foot in and she grabbed him by the bicep. “We aren’t done.” Her gaze went to his mouth, lingered there in that split second that could have been a lifetime. To test her intention, he licked his bottom lip slowly. Sure enough, her stare moved with the motion, and her lips parted in time to release a small whimper.
Something overcame him. The same something that overcame him last night to even be so bold with a woman. He pulled her into the elevator with him, pressing her back against the elevator wall just as the doors closed.

TGS Gems®7 Piece Engraved Chakra Stone Palm Stone

A lot of people have no idea what Chakra Stones are for or how to use them. I am not one of those people. I have a great understanding of these stones and their uses so I was thrilled to be given a chance to review these stones.
These are very nice stones they are flat and very smooth and also have the Chakra symbols engraved in them. The come in a very nice bag to carry them in. The stones are not round and the sizing will not be perfect they run between the sizes of a quarter and a half dollar to give you an idea.  They are highly polished and as I said very smooth. The engraved symbols are also embossed in gold, so the engraving stands out.
The set comes with : Red Jasper (Root Chakra), Carnelian (Sacral Chakra),Yellow Jade (Solar Plexus),Amethyst (Crown Chakra), Green Aventurine (Heart Chakra), Lapis Lazuli (Throat Chakra),Rock Crystal.  Each Chakra actually has 3 to 6 stones to choose from but this is a nice choice set. These are actually stones also not plastic imitations.

Nelson Tie Bar

Very nice stylish tie bar. I was kind of surprised at how beautiful, handsome I guess I should say this tie bar is in person. The pictures are great onsite but in hand it is better. It is a plain tie bar, on the back engraved is the company name. This could be used as a unisex tie bar, I do know some women who wear ties. It is about 2 inches long and I would say 8 or 9 mm wide. I like that it has a stay put design with no alligator clips. Alligator clips tend to bit into some tie materials leaving them snagged, won't have to worry about that with this one. It comes in a very nice purple silk like material lined box, that would be great for gift giving. The box is also big enough to store other jewelry or tie clips in, and would also be nice for carrying in a suit case

Book Description for Mind Over Bullies:  A Mob Forms

People that feel bullied just need to toughen up. That’s what Margo Rios used to think. Margo is pretty, popular and unsympathetic to just how intense bullying can get. As a counterfeiting plot sweeps through the city of Oak View however, life for Margo changes dramatically.

With the mystery unfolding, an unlikely group of heroes emerges. Bullied teens love them, the police hate them and bullies fear them. Together they will try to get to the bottom of the counterfeiting mystery while ingeniously teaching a few bullies a lesson or two along the way… that is, if the police don’t catch them first.

“Mind Over Bullies: A MOB Forms” follows the lives of several teens chronicling the emotional and psychological changes they experience as a result of their encounters with bullying. The lives of the characters play out while an elaborate counterfeiting mystery unfolds making for a fast paced, action-packed read.

Author's Bio:

A 38 year old native of Los Angeles, Mr. Smith began his writing career after getting news that he would soon become an uncle. Wanting to create stories and characters for his expected niece, he created the children’s book series “Sock n Boots Adventures.” The two characters (three year old Sock and five year old Boots) began to make names for themselves, generating downloads in countries around the world.

When asked about his motivation to tackle the subject of bullying in a 108,000 word novel Smith said, “One day I came across a story in the news about a young girl that jumped in front of a subway train after weeks of bullying. As I investigated further, I was shocked at the number of similar stories I encountered. Bullycide, the news was calling it. I thought, wow, what if these young people had been shown that the pain of bullying can be handled without hurting themselves or someone else.”

Ultimately it was thoughts of his now four nieces and three nephews dealing with bullying as they get older that weighed heavily on the decision for Smith to write the story about bullying. “I recognize that the characters and situations in the book may not represent every bullying situation and that realistically the book won’t change the world, but I do sincerely hope that it sends a subtle message about there being life after bullying. We’ll just have to see how the public receives it,” Smith said.

A lover of mystery and espionage stories, Smith is a fan of everything James Bond. A favorite scenario is to see a character in an impossible situation get out of it at the last second or have the odds against them and see he or she turn the tables. Acting on the love of espionage and mystery, Smith has a new novel in the works centering on a James Bond-type character of his own creation.

Interview with D.K. Smith, author of Mind Over Bullies:

1. Tell the readers about MOB

A double plot with a lot of unexpected twists and turns. Some of the feedback has compared it to the Hunger Games. Multiple characters make it easy to find one or two that a reader can identify with.

2. It looks like you are with a smaller/independent publisher. Why did you choose that route?

It was the only way. I hadn’t sold twenty million copies yet, so the larger publishing houses did what they often do and decided to pass on the story. Not surprisingly, the public has had a totally different reaction though. Time and again the feedback has been that the book is well written and well worth reading. So I just wanted the story to be told, and Khamicom gave me the chance to do that.

3. What is a well written book?

A story that makes the reader think, one that connects from beginning to end and has a plot and characters that are well developed. Most importantly, it is a complete story. When a reader is finished they are satisfied that the whole story has been told and they don’t feel like anything has been left out.

4. Where do you see publishing going in the future?

Honestly, I see it heading for a complete shift to self-publishing. Everything is going digital, and there are so many advantages to keeping control of your own books. Royalties are higher, and the overhead is low. Just look at the data on Amazon’s share of the publishing industry, then look at the share that Indie, self-published and small press books have of that number. The shift is already happening.

Places like Amazon make it easy to publish in paperback or digital formats, so the process is more accessible to writers these days.

5. Why do you think that other well written books just don’t sell?

No way to tell. Poor marketing or lack of it. Possibly the story isn’t as well written as the author or publisher might think. Some stories have been told over and over again, so the public may have just become uninterested in a particular storyline. Unoriginal doesn’t sell, even if it is well written. After the success of Fifty Shades of Grey, countless authors went out and wrote BDSM stories and other forms of erotica, but nothing else in that genre has had that level of success. There is no formula for being the first Fifty Shades, or Hunger Games or other bestseller, but once it’s been done, you gotta fine something new.

My review:

The book is about a group of teenagers who are bullied into using counterfeit money. The story takes place in both Oak View California and London England. The story does tend to bounce at times between the 2 places and leaves you to catch up.
There is a message in this book about bullying, which is something more Authors and definitely Television shows need to concentrate on.
This was a ok book. It wasn't bad but it was one I could put down. Now please don't take that as the book wasn't good, it just was a personal opinion. I am sure others loved the book. It is more of a book for Young Adults. So maybe if I read it 20 years ago I would of identified with the characters more.

Silicone Wedding Ring Band with engraved anchors

This is a great set of 3 silicone wedding bands. They say for men but some couples like matching bands, so I would have to say they can be unisex. In the package you get 3 as I said a black, a blue, and a green camo. They all have a little anchor stamped into them. The rings are made of HYPOALLERGENIC food grade silicone. They are non conductive, waterproof, Chemically inert and non porous. So these rings are great at wok as well as during exercise or outdoor activities. This s also great if you put your hands through a tough workout, if you snagged a metal ring on something you could loose a finger, with the silicone one after so much pressure it will pop. My daughter also wears one of these rings. While at work her finger was smashed in a heavy door and her wedding ring had to be cut off, her finger was in a essence chewed up by her metal wedding ring. With the silicone ring it would of bounced back into shape and she could of taken the ring off.
The ring is sized perfect up to my husbands actual wedding band.

Acquapura personal water filter plus coupon!!

I was a little unsure of this Personal Water Filter but I really wanted to try it. We go on a lot of weekend outings and hikes. Sometimes the water lasts that we take with us, sometimes not so much. We live in Florida in the Ocala National Forest and water is a must. If we were to get lost in the woods it would not take long to dehydrate an die. So I wanted this for my back pack. I took it to my kitchen to try it out since I have ever had one. It was so easy to use, and I have decided I think I need to buy water now. We have well water, and what came out in the filter has me a little concerned. We will be getting a filtration system soon.
