Back to Normal Arnica Cream

 I have carpal tunnel in my right hand, I am right handed. I went to the doctor after fighting it for 8 long painful months. The Doctor decided a shot of Cortisone would fix me right up. Umm it backfired in a big way. It started as soon as the numbness from the shot wore off, I had a reaction called a cortisone or steroid flare, for 2 days I was in excruciating pain, all the way up to my shoulder. Now for the last couple of weeks I have shooting pains all the way up my arm, I cannot move my thumb, my fingers are still numb, and my wrist, hand, and fingers are sore. I go for more tests in another 2 weeks, and then the Doctor decides what's next. Now you know my story, now the story of the Arnica Cream. I have been using this since it came in the mail a few days ago, although it is not taking all the pain away it is helping to keep it manageable. There is no real smell to it, it does not burn, it does not leave my skin greasy, but it does counteract the pain and also leaves my skin soft where I have used it.

AntiPoleez Frat pack - Alcohol and Bad Breath Eliminator (12 individual packs) 360 Drops.

Although I am not real crazy about the idea on the box of these I have to admit they work well. By the picture on the box The idea behind these are to fake out the Police when drinking and driving so they do not smell the booze on your breath, this idea I do not like. Please do not drink and drive!!
We eat a lot of garlic in my house and some nights after dinner the Garlic haunts us, my daughter was my perfect Guinea pig, she had just eaten and was very garlicy. I gave her one of these lozenges, she said it kind of had a hint of licorice and something else she wasn't sure of. She said it was kind of strong but not in a bad way. After she ate it she blew in my face, there was really no smell at all to her breath, no garlic, no licorice, no mint, nothing. I was kind of shocked, just how well these worked. Now on particularly garlicy nights, I can hand these out on everyones way out of the kitchen.

Premium Car Seat Protector for Your Child or Baby from Baby Everest

This car seat protector is very nice, I do wish it was a little bit wider, which is my reason for 4 stars. There are no straps or buckles, but it does stay in place. The backing on the protector reminds me of the spongy non skid shelf and drawer covering. There is a cut out in the sides to keep the protector from impeding the lap belt and buckle. I have light grey seats and my Grand Daughters sippy cup spilled on my seat, so I was hping this would go a step above and help with that problem but it is just not wide enough. It is however wide enough for the whole car seat to set on and lean against, so the baby seat does not touch my upholstery at all. The non skid backing on the seat protector also seems to help keep the seat from scooting around. There is also a double pocket that hangs below the seat for storage.

Senyoo Portable Mini Camping Lamp and Rechargeable Emergency Light

This is quite the light. There are 4 levels of brightness and 1 level of flashing. It come with 2 wrist straps the connect to each end s you could hang it flat instead of upright. There is a small power button on the end to turn it off and on and to go through the different settings. This is a rechargeable light, it comes with a micro USB cord and can be charged through any USB port, car charger, wall charger, computer. The light can be used up to 400 hours on a full charge. The light is abut 4 1/2 inches long and about a inch wide. This light fits in any small place, pocket, purse,tool box, back pack, just about anywhere. The light would be great for camping or anywhere you need a spare light. I live in the Ocala National Forest, and we have a lot of storms during the summer and the power goes out a lot due to trees on lines, this little light is great for when you are setting in the dark, I know I used it yesterday for that.

Welcome, Reluctant Stranger by E Journey Blog Tour & Giveaway

Book Description for Hello, My Love (Book #1):

This thoughtful woman’s romance novel explores the inner life (thoughts, hopes, and doubts) of a couple as they contend with the realities of compelling relationships.

A modern-day pastiche of Jane Austen novels. Elise is a bright, beautiful law student, focused on a career and distrustful of men. She butts heads with Greg at her parents’ dinner parties. Dark, good-looking, internet-business owner, he finds Elise intriguing, so unlike the dark-haired seductive beauties he used to escort around.

Specter of revenge. Unable to deny their attraction for each other, they spend an unexpected night together two days before he is to wed someone else. Lori, the jilted fiancée, exacts revenge, tearing Greg and Elise apart and forcing them to face who they are and what they really want.

An accident. Older and wiser, Greg and Else reunite two years later. He is in for a surprise. Later, their lives are thrown again into disarray when Elise becomes the victim of a hit-and-run. Is Lori back to haunt them again?

A delicious romance with a literary slant, spiced with a twist of whodunit.

Shattered dreams. Real-world problems, thorny relations with a mother tied to her roots and betrayal by Jola shatter her dreams.

A 70s love story. Agnieszka falls in love, but fate deals her first love a death blow. She rises from the losses she has suffered and gets a second chance at happiness.

A mother’s youthful dreams thwarted and renewed, amidst the exciting promise of the 70s.

Book Description for Welcome Reluctant Stranger (Book #3):

Frantic flight, peaceful life. Act of treason on an island country. Cauldron of warring emotions. Exotic beauty, ace with a gun. Hunk with gifts for mockery and cooking.

Nine-year-old Leilani and her family mysteriously flee the island country of Costa Mora, leaving her father. Years later, her peaceful solitary life in California ends when she rescues Justin Halverson from thugs and she learns a devastating truth about her father. As she agonizes over her father, Justin comforts her, and they’re drawn closer together.

With Justin, she returns to her birthplace to get her father quietly out. There, she reconnects with her past, but can she forgive her father and accept him for who he is? Can she finally be at peace with who she is? Welcome, Reluctant Stranger interweaves a love story into a tale of past political intrigue and Leilani’s inner journey, accepting her past.

Author's Bio:

EJourney is a realist who thinks she has little imagination. Credit that to her training (Ph. D., University of Illinois) and work in mental health, writing for academics and bureaucrats, and critiquing the work of others. She’s been striving ever since to think and write like normal people.

She’s a well-traveled flâneuse—a female observer-wanderer—who watches, observes, listens. And writes. A sucker for happy endings, she finds enough that depresses her about real life, but seeks no catharsis by writing about it. For her, writing is escape, entertainment. She doesn’t strive to enlighten. Not deliberately. But the bias of her old profession does carry over into her writing. So, instead of broad shoulders and heaving bosoms, she goes into protagonists' thoughts, emotions, inner conflicts, insecurities, and struggles to reach balance and grow.

Blog Tour and Giveaway: WHERE WOLVES TALK by D.L. Lewis

WHERE WOLVES TALK
by D.L. Lewis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Kitten, an American tabby residing in England, is a frustrated cat. He knows his place in the world: he was born to kill. Killing, after all, is what felines are supposed to do. Confined within his Lady's house, however, the young fellow is deprived of the opportunity to hunt live prey. The mansion is a sterile playground for a predator; offering nothing more than furniture which allows itself to be brutalized far too easily. The ambitious cat is bored and hungry for a challenge.
Kitten learns of a passage hidden in his Lady's library: the Door, which leads to an unknown world. The cat has been told that the source of all evil dwells openly in this place. The feline is eager to fight the sinister personage and goes through the Door with no hesitation.
The tabby finds himself in what appears to be a forest like any other in England. It doesn't take long for him to learn that this is a very different place.
Written in the basic style of classic stories like THE LORD OF THE RINGS, WATERSHIP DOWN, and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, this novel can be appreciated on different levels. To some readers, it's an allegorical tale: thought-provoking and filled with symbolism. To others, it's an adventure-filled page-turner.
Excerpt :
First Horse, snorting and puffing, began to prance in place before her general and the tabby. Sinewy legs of solid muscle kicked high to break sharply at the knee and then dropped, like slow springs, only to bounce back into the break again after the first contact with the ground; as though the equine’s alabaster hooves feared the gentle kiss of the earth, yet couldn’t resist seeking it, over and over again. Erupting out of the controlled prance and into wild self-expression, the filly turned and kicked up her back feet in celebration of giddy feel-good happiness. One big jump-kick, two big jump-kicks, one near-somersault, and she dashed forward into an abrupt gallop that halted as soon as it had begun; chunks of disturbed earth flying into the air as hooves dug into terra firma for a flashy halt. In a final explosion of showing off, the quadruped kicked her hind feet up so high that Kitten feared the equine might tumble forward into a spine-shattering roll. First Horse wasn’t so foolish as to perform such a self-destructive feat, however, and brought her heels back to earth a millisecond before her equilibrium reached the endangered point. Standing suddenly quiet, she bowed her head to her superior.
Wolf’s tail drummed against the ground in an expression of appreciation for the athletic show. “What’s got into my girl today? Did you find a field of oats and stuff yourself into this tizzy of excess energy?”
Hidden Monsters (Volkov Bratva, #4)
Until Luka…
Aleksandra Volkov happily escaped into the oblivion that alcohol and pills provided, longing to forget the memories that plague her. But sometimes, it takes someone as equally broken to mend the fractured pieces of her life.
Until Alex…
Luka Sergeyev willfully courted death by living in the midst of the very people who would have him killed if the truth of who he was ever came out. But he would gladly take that risk if it meant she would look at him like he mattered for just a little while longer.
When it comes to life within the Volkov Bratva, love comes at a price, secrets are common, and most of all, one’s survival is not guaranteed.
Valon: What Once Was, a Volkov Bratva Novella
Before there was Luka Sergeyev, there was a boy by the name of Valon Ahmeti, born to a Russian mother and an Albanian father. His life was not an easy one and he should have long succumbed to death, but prevailed, as only he could, into a life of hell and debauchery.
Beauty derived from cruelty…
Bloodlust born of agony…
Some minds can’t handle torture…
It breaks them…
